I want to like this game but the fact is even with a perfect strategy it's 99% luck that you will infect Madagascar. Must have had 30 games with madagascar as the only remaining region to infect.

starting in madagascar acually guarantees a fail, i did it and got pwned by 4 countries, the reason is because people rarely leave madagascar. You know what sucks? it sucks when scientists guess there is a disease that has no symptoms and they make everyone shut down everything because of the disease of nothingness that they guesses about, and they were right about it also. >_>

Somebody should revise the guide. I tried it on Relaxed, but without transmissions until I had infected everything, and it was easier to infect Madagascar... There is a difference between Relaxed and Realistic, so I'm trying Realistic right now...

I tend to have my best luck starting in Japan, seems that I get boats going to Madagascar early.
But the strategy guide posted is solid, just didn't use it to get my PMA badge.
