"The base mechanics seem slightly flawed and leave the game feeling shallow" I agree.
I killed off the entire world, all except for... as expected, Madagascar. The fact that despite however well you might play and the choices you make, based on RANDOM LUCK Madagascar may shut down early or not, will make or break your game and determine if you have to start all over. To me, that's not fun... it's mindlessly repetitive and people only do it for the badge. It's not based on the skill of the player, it's luck if you can get the "annoying countries" that tend to close early. Please, if you make Pandemic 3, don't do this.
