Truthfully, starting somewhere around South East Asia are the best places oh and if you do start from madagascar/peru/cuba, expect longer waits for a single country to get infected.

The game has too much of a luck factor to be one of the best out there. It had a lot of potential, but just because it takes hours to get to one little country (Madagascar), the 60 points isn't worth it. It could be more interactive so you can control where your virus goes, not so that it's all erratic and based on one upgrade screen.
