I found a trick to it. Any disease will work as long as it manage to spread to all the regions in a reasonable amount of time (30-40 days max). Once that part is complete, pump drug resistance to IV and buy all the lethal traits that has low visibility. Even with full lethality and infectivity, you can't can't kill them off quick enough if the visibility is too high.

In relaxed, I used parasite and started in E Europe. Took away symptom as soon as posible, and did 1-1-1-2. Then after awhile, did 2 for moisture and got waterborne. If this strategy works, copy and post this!

The strat does "work" but not all the time. I got the impossile badge by starting in Japan. You can do that strat with any country as long as it has an airport and a seaport. All about luck because the programmer didnt have enough boats go toward madagascar.

argh!! i pumped all of tiers 1-3 and it still wasn't lethal enough to kill everyone. i got everyone affected around day 20-22. even after 150 days, they still didn't die...lol

The strategies posted will EVENTUALLY work... the most important points are: 1) that if you haven't infected every country by day thirty, you don't have much chance of winning the impossible badge. 2) It helps to infect 4 or 5 countries, then buy off all symptoms to keep the infections going without starting an early massive pandemic that triggers border and transit closings. 3) You'll need a stockpile of points to buy traits that increase your disease's lethality once you have every country infected if you want to kill the populace before the impossible badge's 100 day mark.
