1) Pick Virus. 2) Start in Canada, New Zealand, Cuba, Greenland, Mexico, or Madagascar. If you do not get there restart. 3) Sell the starting symptoms, if any, and buy sneezing (unless it is what you started with, just keep it). 4) Buy 1-1-1-0 resistances but no transmissions (they trigger closures). 5) Once four countries are infected, sell sneezing to get rid of visibility. 6) Wait until all countries are infected. If Madagascar closes its shipyards or is not infected in 30 days, restart. 7) Buy all four drug resistances AND sneezing, coughing, and vomiting. 8) After a few days, unlock tiers 2-3, (do not buy tier 4 ever!) keeping whatever symptoms it gives you. 9) Buy fever, fatigue, diarrhea, pulmonary edema, and hypersensitivity. NEVER BUY ANY TRANSMISSION THINGS this does work!!

Good game with unique gameplay.
The only bad thing about it is that once you disable sound, you disable all sound streams on your computer, thus it will disable the sound if your watching a youtube clip or if you chose to listen to an mp3 it will have to be re-initialized. Which is a hassle.

Got done with the game in my sleep, literally... i chose a parasite, only made fever a symptom, had Cold I, Heat II, (cuz i started in South America) and Moisture II. Then i made it spread through what was most common there first, insects, then rodents, airborne, then waterborne. Then i just left it alone and wound up fallin asleep, when i woke up, turned out the vaccine warning froze time. next i got Drug IV, and lethal symptoms so they would have to restart the vaccine, since there were worse conditions now, next i saw the world die out

Pretty stupid that I have to wait for random ships to go to a specific country in order to get the hard badge. Another game where the badges rely too much on luck. Hint: At least make it faster to restart your game if you're going to make it this way.

this game is very fun. my only complaint however is that no matter what disease you are creating governments detect you very easily. For instance I'm playing a round right now in which I am a parasite(the least visible out of all of the options), I have no symptoms in effect and with 100 people infected the region that I'm in starts shutting things down. Over than that this game is very fun.
