Finally got the impossible badge... A word of note on the strategy: do not get high resistance (lvl 3 and above) for your disease until all the countries have been infected! Otherwise, your disease will infect too many people and force closures.

My disease causes kidney failure, Hemorrhaging, Diarrhea, fever, sneezing, and vomiting, but hasn't killed a single person. Tough crowd.

I had shut down the entire worlds transport system leaving a poor boat to just travel between countries unable to dock anywhere, at least they'll be the last humans left alive.
