Effective strategy found!
Start with parasite because its not noticed fast.
Upgrade 1 on all resitances. If you start with a resitance upgrade the other non drugs resitances to 2. This is so your disease spreads fast but not too fast in your starting region which can get it noticed.
Also get airborne and pest for tranmissions. You don't want it spreading too fast, just to every region.
Hope your lucky and infect madagascar. Obviously incease drug resistance when a vaccines being developed. With this stategy I got everywhere apart from madagascar, argentina and peru. Tried again a few times and got lucky. I can't stress enough how important luck is in this game.

Step 1: Start as a virus and buy and sell so that you only have fever and all Transmission upgrades. Step 2: Wait for there to be reports of the disease in all countries, then buy Pulmonary Edema. Step 3: Watch the world die.

Okay so the disease starts in Europe,Oceania,Africa,Asia and then once all of those continents are infected it just some how arrives in USA before any other country in the West? Wtf dude. That's racist!

Been on Madagascar for about a real-life hour, still no one outside of it has been infected. Probably the only time I've prayed for people to get sick.
