@pkercraft999: This is because a ship was still in route to the port. The longest time reported for a ship to be out at sea is 20 days. They consistently try to go around the entire world. I also have the impossible badge. Look at Solprovider's strategy guide.

I restarted the game like fifteen times just to get Madagascar, and then I did and then the disease didn't spread anywhere else in the entire world so I still lost ;~;

@Ends Of Ends. Wow, your method worked. I could not believe it. The game decided to troll me by giving me the harmless trait when I infected every country. My disease was less likely to kill people. Won on day 99 and I am serious. I was super tense watching the united stats population slide down to 0 and watching the days pass.

@mvm900 Perhaps, but the disease may have killed all aboard the boat and it is merely running on whatever is left and autopilot, aimlessly driving through it's course until it runs out of fuel. Or, say, there is no infection aboard, what happens when you run out of food and water and fuel? Eventually that boat will just be an empty boat.

I start in Madagascar, create totally unnoticeable disease, it finally gets out, doesn't spread anywhere outside of Asia and Europe. Everywhere else closes borders, airports, etc.

Wow so I figure since madagascar never gets infected that I would start in madagascar and reset my game until I finally did, so I then make a highly infectious but extremely low vsibility virus with no lthality and it infects te ENTIRE population of madagascar without ANYONE noticing...However, it never spread..40 days in madagascar and it went nowhere...I hate you

I recommend starting with 1 in every resistance and no symptoms then wait till you infect everywhere, even Madagascar, then unleash the hell! ;D

An alternative for Nauto98001's strategy (adapted):
- Pick parasite.
- Start in Canada, New Zealand, Cuba, Greenland, West Europe, or Madagascar.
- Get sores as the starting symptom.
- Buy the airborne transmission and 1-1-1-0 resistances. These WON'T be further upgraded.
- Wait for a global infection. Restart if you trigger closures.
- Sell sores when 3-5 countries get infected.
- Keep collecting evolution points.
- Maximize drug resistances.
- Unlock until Tier III, and get ataxia and insanity. (fatigue is useful, synergizes)
- Watch people getting killed slowly, and painfully by your deadly parasite. Please note that this is not quite useful for the President Madagascar Assasin Badge because transmissions for the parasites are quite slow, even if you upgrade them. There IS an airport in Madagascar. I wish the developer(s) would come back to this game and fix it so Madagascar isn't impossible to get.
