I'm guessing all this breaking news is coming from madagascar. I mean really? When the rest of the world is infected and dead I doubt they'd have time or care about news.

This is bullshit and TOTALLY RANDOM, unlike Pandemik 1 that was a good game. The game mechanics are 5/5, but if ABSOLUTELY ALL depends on extreme luck and 0 skills, what's the point? 2/5.

(started in madagascar (3rd failure)) had more than 45 days to f****** kill the entire population and as my luck would have it, took me more than 60 more days.

i wish a giant meteor would fall on Madagascar, note on making a third version of this game, make it easier. make it so noticeable actually effects the game. my disease should be impossible to detect, and why make a vaccine for a disease that does NOTHING at all, everybody is infected (except Madagascar) and not one person has died why bother! "oh you are infected with the most harmless disease lets cure it!"

Nauto98001 has it all right, but any way you put it, madagascar will always be your biggest problem (even if you start in it). Ive had only one somewhat succesful try at destroying the humans but unfortunately japan rejected the last ship (with infected people on it for sure) when it was as close as this dash mark - . They didnt get infected as a result and were the only survivors. I was absolutely ticked off XD

I just don't get it, I follow Nauto98011 strategy exactly and after 5 countries being infected nearly everything closes...

Nauto98011 strategy works, but its so chancy that ive had a little success, and then a lot, and then none again. Did you favor a country over the other ones you listed as the best one to start at?

My strategy (NOT TESTED EXTENSIVELY) Start out with virus and do what Nauto (top commenter) says up to Step 4. You should now go IMMEDIATELY to Tier 4 and ONLY keep diseases that have no noticeability (or very slight). Make sure you have heart failure as it gives no noticeability and a high rate of death. If Madagascar ever closes it's shipyards, restart. The same goes for any island that closes everything. (any land-connected countries will ABSOLUTELY be infected by now, unless they closed airports and shipyards early). Plus me if this worked out for you! (may take a few tries)

Of course, the first thing I do when I see a disease that does absolutely nothing when a vaccine is in development is shut down all hospitals within the country.
