The thing I hate most about this game is that there's pretty much no way to predict when a country will shut down, and when they do, it's permanent. I'm tired of having to randomly restart every few minutes.

Martial law, closing borders, etc. are NOT effective against spreading disease! I can understand a slow spread, but no spread is unrealistic! Look at the epidemics of the past!

mankind has never been able to cure a virus in all of their history, but all of the sudden, they cure dozens. Sovereign governments react so fast to diseases. This game is so very unrealistic, our airports and shipyards haven't closed due to aids or the flu, or West Nile Virus. i get that the game needs to challenging, but this is just bad. fun game tho :)

Don't buy any transmissions to keep (air)ports open, sell all symptoms and be a parasite for low visibility. Be really patient and I got into madagascar and other countries no problem.

haha this game is what comes to my mind every time I read "Madagascar"... btw is the easiest impossible badge on Kongregate, it's not easy, but compared to the others, it's pretty ok.

I was face palming myself so hard when I made this comment. I had a virus that only had the symptom of fever which took over the entire world, and the goverment officals of all the infected countries handed out water bottles, closed ports, and did everything they could to stop me. All because I could make people lie in a bed with a dry head.

guys go watch a srategy guide dont EVER, use Transmissions, because first if make the airborne people will get infected too fast and stuff would close too quickly, infecting the water would be unuseful, since Madagascar doesnt even HAVE a water source, insects and rodents will do like the airborne. Transmissions are there ONLY when u infected the ENTIRE world, to Infect faster. So their just useless unless u know how to deal with it.

started in madagascar.....60 long days i was stuck there. max transmistions, 3 or above on resistances and no symphoms so they don't shut me in. 60 days! then within 3 days, the rest of the world is mine MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! I win.

Every time I start a new disease and Madagascar sees someone sneeze, they are like, "CLOSE THE ONLY HARBOR WE GIT, SOMEONE SNEEZED, WERE GOING TO DIE!!!"

Its amazing how all these thousands of diseases from all the thousands of plays didint wipe off the human race FOREVER and there is always one survivor with a time machine that goes back to 2008.

OK this is ridiculous, I had dame near the perfect hand and still can't beat this: I started in Madagascar, with virus, and with sneezing, and heat 1. Right off the bat i was able to expose S. Africa, quickly followed by Canada and China. OK great start, I drop sneezing pick up the other 3 level 1 resistances and the rest of the world follows within a week. (day 11) I was able to build up a nice stock pile of points so i unlocked the Drug4 and tier 2/3 symptoms then work up to everything but sweating and depression as they became available. now I'm sitting at around day 50 all the hospitals are closed, so the vaccine never gets completed. and I'm looking good... then... nothing literately nothing happens, around day 80 all of the world is finally sick but most are still alive... and it's not day 164 and Greenland is the first to become forsaken. what the heck am i missing?

We must still play with this. I dont' want see it anymore, please Kong. Please! My new rating for the game is 1/5. Seven years and still I go crazy if I hear "Madagascar" 'cause this. Please! I love the World, also Madagascar, but I can't survive for long... :)

1.) Pick Virus. 2) Start in Canada, New Zealand, Cuba, Greenland, West Europe, or Madagascar. If you do not get there restart. 3) Sell the starting symptoms, and buy sneezing (unless it is what you started with, just keep it). 4) Buy 1-1-1-0 resistances but no transmissions (they trigger closures). 5) Once four countries are infected, sell sneezing to get rid of visibility. 6) Wait until all countries are infected. If Madagascar closes its shipyards/borders or is not infected in 30 days, restart. 7) Buy all four drug resistances AND sneezing, coughing, and vomiting. 8) After a few days, unlock tiers 2-3, (do not buy tier 4 ever!) keeping whatever symptoms it gives you. 9) Buy fever, fatigue, diarrhea, pulmonary edema, and hypersensitivity.
