Diary of a Disease, day 28: I started on Madagascar on day 1. Until now, not a single chance to spread to other continents. That moment when you think it'll work and you infect all the countries before they start shutting down but the first country to shut it's shipyards and the last to not be infected is madagascar o-o

It's not just madagascar, it's any country that shuts down shipyards, borders, and airports. It's as if the virus is asking to cross the border into the country. -.-

Hints:
1)Climate matters. Adjust your resistence and spreading methods to the area you star in.
2)Wait until deployment of vaccine has started to upgrade only one of your resitences to level 4, and the vaccine will fail.
3)Do not upgrade your symptoms until you have Mdagascar(if you start at Madgascar...wait until you have at least 5 other countries infected).

I know it's just a game mechanic but it's a bit unrealistic to think that shutting down borders airports and sea ports would completely prevent infection. I mean, since when has everyone in the world obeyed a law? A 1% chance per day of the country being infected in spite of its lock down or something would be nice.

Everybody's complaining about madagascar. Me? madagascar was fine. Right off the bat cuba instantly shuts down pretty much everything, no infected. sucks.

This Impossible badge is the most impossible badge on all of Kongregate. I had every country (including Madagascar) infected by day 18!!
Still after that most PERFECT game, there were a few people left at day 100.

Here's a tip for people wanting to infect Madagascar. Madagascar takes a lot of ships from New zealand, so you wanna start there.

I would like to know how all these countries can take note of my disease when it does absolutely nothing.
Then proceed to shut down everything.

On relax, I find parasites to work best, with the max of Drug resistance. Otherwise, it goes too fast and countries will shut down and create the vaccine.
On realistic, virus with one resistance to each element.
Don't use transmission and take out any symptoms when you start exporting in other countries. This way you maximize your chances to get all the countries.
Madagascar, sometimes will get infected even though the shipyard is closed, if a ship was going there. So it is worth to wait a day or two after they shut down to be sure.

In real life they haven't cured the common cold, in pandemic 2 they have cured my desiese....the common deadly cold. Like if youlike the desiese name, dislike if u dont.
