Two in every resistance with no symptoms and wait until you have enough points for lv. 4 drug resistance. Then, get waterborne. Then, wait for the rest of the countries to fall before you. Then, get insect, rodent, and airborne qualities.
Now, wait until you have enough points for vomiting, fever, and fatigue/sweating.

Also, don't be too quick to listen to that spammed walkthrough. Make a disease that you like and improve on it. I killed everyone with bacteria rather than a virus. Good luck!

Don't know how you people are doing this except by luck. The fastest I can wipe out everyone is 115 days doing things exactly the way described here.
And by the way, if you start in Madagascar, you can't win.
It takes upwards of 40 days just to get off the island.
