The Airports have shut down,.. The Seaports are abandoned... Schools are closed... Hospitals are outnumbered by the increasingly number of patients... I see a boat at the beach, and I must head to an island safely... and I know where to head to... MADAGASCAR IT IS!

The game seems really fun until you realize there's a country with no borders, no airports, and a seaport that closes in about 30 seconds. Ugh...

lol, I noticed something funny. When I check the "Breaking News" tab it says "Government of (country) declares MARSHALL LAW to prevent infection", but when I check the country's tab it says "MARTIAL LAW in effect". I think everyone in the country is Kung Fu fighting lol

It would be cool to be able to buy a few days of dormancy; it's fun to create things that exist in different parts of the world and let 'em rip. I haven't "beaten" this game yet but have created some fun pestilences. My first, called Shartsplatz, was a waterborne bacteria that caused diarrhea and wiped out everyone except Madagascar (of course) and Australia. Must be the booze that made the Aussies immune. I added rodents and insects as means of transmission. Big ole yuck-fest. Had one start in China. It went to all the other BRIC nations and Cuba first, then trashed Africa and Europe, leaving the western hemisphere alone. Hmm. Nauto's right. A nice, robust northern bug's the way to do the planet in; Greenland rocks! Who knew? :-) Oh, one suggestion: a border lock-down should NOT be 100% effective. I mean, come on. The US has NAFTA, the South Pacific has smugglers and pirates.... One dope smuggler with a cough and the runs is STILL a vector. :-)

Note to self: make sure to be careful before closing down boating docks, boat signs are annoying as hell to watch while boating docks are closed
