My experience playing this:
Person 1: "President Madagascar! President Madagascar!"
President Madagascar: "What?"
Person 1: "We just got word that somebody in the US thinks he heard someone hiccup!"
President Madagascar: "HOLY [expletive]!!! SHUT EVERYTHING DOWN! KILL THE BUGS AND RATS! HAND OUT BOTTLED WATER! THE WORLD IS ABOUT TO END!!!"
Person 2: "President USA, President USA!"
President USA: "What?"
Person 2: "There are hundreds of people all over the world dying of a mysterious disease that is immune to vaccines!"
President USA: "Oh, that. Yeah, I know. Now go away, I'm watching cartoons and avoiding attending my mother's funeral."
Later~
Person 2: "President USA, President USA!"
President USA: "Now what?"
Person 2: "Madagascar and us are the only countries that still have living people!"
President USA: *sigh* "Close everything down. But keep the airports open!"
Person 2: "Um, sir-"
President USA: "Just do it!"

1) Pick Virus and start at a country with an habour and airport! 2) Use Sneezing + your starting symptom, no need to sell it, and use 2 resistances of the first level, not 3! 3) As as soon as your infections hit 0.1% of your total population, sell all Symptoms (except fever). With 0.1% and more, you are able to infect other countries. 4) Your goal is to infect Madagascar, if you can't infect it before you reach lvl 40/45 try again! 5) Get all countries infected. 6) Buy all drug resistances and lvl all resistances to atleast lvl 1. 7) Be careful, that your disease does not kill more ppl than infect new, if so you won't win, so wait till you are sure that everyone will get infected asap. 8) Kill all using appropriate Symptoms - no need for Transmissions. 10) Good luck, might take ages. - Keep bumped, cheers. ;)

Hmm, this game is pretty much all about luck and a waste of time at it's current state.
You can't influence anything once things are closed, hence it would be good if by modifing the disease and a decrease in infections and deaths etc. things would open again?! How's that?
It's all about luck to get an infected ship into Madagascar (or start there) at the moment.
Needs some improvements! I first rated it 4 stars but went down to 3, 2 and finally one.

Love it, but there is one tiny flaw: The scientists working on the vaccine for my parasite are most likely dead, yet progress is still steady. There is only one explanation. Zombies.

Its funny though, when I began in Madagascar they never shut down anything there... just keep letting that disease flow on out! :)

Disappointing. If I start on Madagascar, it stays in Madagascar forever. If it lands anywhere else besides Greenland, it doesn't hit Madagascar. Seems more like a game of luck than anything.

horrible game. Apparently a disease that causes a slight fever and never kills anyone would lead to martial law and close all travel in the world. Shame that nobody ever made a one of these disease games that didn't suck. 1/5

Man you have to love Greenland. Infection is everywhere and all of Greenland is infected. Everything is still open and government shuts down nothing. So in a global pandemic, run to Madagascar and NEVER enter Greenland. Duly noted.

GREAT STRATEGY--pick parasite, have only fever and pulminary edemia, build resistance, THEN when EVERY area is infected, start upgrading the more noticeable (but deadlier) symptoms. KEEP VISIBILITY LOW.

So.....................in this world, they don't have illegal immigrants, private fliers, or any of that? Illegal immigrants would make this game SO much easier.
