Starting in Madagascar is also annoying :p Going for ultra low profile infection. Ended up infecting over 75% of Madagascar before it got to any other country.

Only 30 Madagascarians alive.Only 31 humans alive. Day 101, 0 Madagascarians alive,1 human alive. How did the virus get to madagascarians? President Madagascar sneezed at the fruit before leaving, and madagascarian ate it,so he infected all the others. So who's the one?He’s wondering around in his ship all around the world.After seeing all fishes floating on surface of the ocean,he realized that virus is now in water.He decided to go to his home place- Madagascar.He saw bodies burned, inects dead... And says: Damn you President Madagascar. Seeing person sweating in Miami on TV and closing down everything wasn't fast enough,when 1 ship came into your shipyards 3 seconds after closures and infected a person.At least you did something, unlike India president who released the prisoners to "fight" the virus.-Later, he tried to reproduce with monkey, but ended up p*nisless when monkey thought it was banana.

Okay so i was on wikipedia and browsing through the madagascar page trying to think of creative ways to infect its population when i noticed that it has good relations with other countries in the indian ocean as well as various countries in britain... so it would be a good idea to get your disease to those areas because madagascar might want to import from there... if its eceonomy was a bit better.. but still.. that would be a great idea, if global relations were implemented in the game... which they probably arent, but hey, one can hope

... there need to be supply and demand involved, such as if you disease makes people dehydrated then they want water, as water demand goes up, the government imports water (via plane or boat) then you disease can hitch a ride on the return trip from the country to help it spread, same instances with disasters, bad things happen, other countries help, people helping get infected, bring it back to their country... just a thought cause i can never get into all the countries (madagascar and greenland, ill get you both one day...)

1.) Pick Virus.
2) Start in Canada, New Zealand, Cuba, Greenland, West Europe, or Madagascar. If you do not get there restart.
3) Sell the starting symptoms, and buy sneezing (unless it is what you started with, just keep it).
4) Buy 1-1-1-0 resistances but no transmissions (they trigger closures).
5) Once four countries are infected, sell sneezing to get rid of visibility
6) Wait until all countries are infected. If Madagascar closes its shipyards/borders or is not infected in 30 days, restart.
7) Buy all four drug resistances AND sneezing, coughing, and vomiting.
8) After a few days, unlock tiers 2-3, (do not buy tier 4 ever!) keeping whatever symptoms it gives you.
9) Buy fever, fatigue, diarrhea, pulmonary edema, and hypersensitivity. Then save for kidney failure and ataxia.

It has been a long, hard time. I don't know how many new games I started. Finally got the impossible badge. The last survivor was raiding a deserted cafe in Paris when he succumbed to heart failure while swigging free champagne. Note that according to Airgorilla.com, there are 30 airports in Madagascar, all built after this game was released. The fools are no longer immune, ha, ha!

The Moral of the Story: If Madagascar is infected with a deadly virus, confine the people to their island prison and leave them to die, but if anywhere else is infected, barricade the holy island and safeguard the new rulers of the world.
