I still consider it a success when europe, russia, china, mexico, and north africa are all wiped out. especially if india has 44 people left and the middle east has 14. that disease took out all of america's enemies.

1.) Pick Virus. 2) Start in Canada, New Zealand, Cuba, Greenland, West Europe, or Madagascar. If you do not get there restart. 3) Sell the starting symptoms, and buy sneezing (unless it is what you started with, just keep it). 4) Buy 1-1-1-0 resistances but no transmissions (they trigger closures). 5) Once four countries are infected, sell sneezing to get rid of visibility. 6) Wait until all countries are infected. If Madagascar closes its shipyards/borders or is not infected in 30 days, restart. 7) Buy all four drug resistances AND sneezing, coughing, and vomiting. 8) After a few days, unlock tiers 2-3, (do not buy tier 4 ever!) keeping whatever symptoms it gives you. 9) Buy fever, fatigue, diarrhea, pulmonary edema, and hypersensitivity. Then save for kidney failure and ataxia. 10) keep this comment alive Thanks for the comment! I got 13th of all time by using this method.

this game has a mind of its own if your virus begins anywhere but Madagascar it says haha ima close down its ports in the first day if your virus begins there it shows you the finger and takes 40 days to go somewhere else.

way to kill vaccine: 1:put on superfast mode for about 10 min 2:buy all drug resintence 3:wait about 5 min 4:open the 'WORLD' tab and it should say= NUMBER OF OPEN HOSPITALS 1/24 NUMBER OF TOTAL HOSPITALS 24 ESTIMATED DAYS TILL COMPLETEION: 3041(something like that) after that you got like unlimited time to kill the world!

Stupidly bad. The game is a random number generator to see if you win or not. evolution points are awarded senselessly: why do I get credit for sitting and doing nothing, but not for killing billions of people? Infection is urnealistic and unfun. Why does the game just *end* when there are no more infected people when a disease can exist in water, air, insects and rats?
Bad design, not fun, and not much to do except sit and wait, then restart, the wait, over and over.

Idea for next pandemic: Let people choose starting location for disease, so madagascar which only lets out one ship/year stops being the main problem.
Seriously, why the f*** that tiny island has so little ship movement.

There needs to be a pandemic 3 that DOESN'T HAVE MADAGASCAR IN IT!!!!! MADAGASCAR DRIVES ME INSANE! THE ONLY WAY TO INFECT IT IS TO HAVE IT BE YOUR STARTING REGION! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHGGGGGGGGG!!!

cool game,finally beat madagascar SWEEEET, started in canada infected 3 other countries with sneezing, sold it. bought 1-1-1-0 as suggested and waited till day 29 and every stinking country got infected :),then with my 100 or so points to spend on my virus the fun begins, HAHAHA die world die!!!

This game is crap. i infected Madagascar ONCE, and West Europe shut down. 1/5. countries don't run like this. and half these places dont even have airports, why the hell not? for example, Peru, and Madagascar
