Got the badge though, the manual posted over and over again DOES work. It's not failsafe, but it is the best way to go at it. Had to restart 30 times in total, of which half were in a good region, and most of them did not get to madagascar before it closed.
Just get lucky.

OK two things.....
1. That comment is really annoying its like all the other spams.
2. If your a parasite you get alot of evolution points only for a small amont infected(like 40 infected 15 points!) and be careful because i almost lost on parasite by being depleted, stupid hospitals.

but you might have to retry since madagascar is 100% luck!
just stick to the strategy so you don't run out of points!
i myself spent too much and could not affort the best death symptoms but the small ones did suffice!

The Complete Guide To the 60 point badge seems to rely on people having around 20-30 more points than I usually have; is that because I don't need to buy transmitters?
And when getting Moisture Resistance to the second level and waterborne, you get to infect the water supplies. That doesn't seem a bad thing, but the solution doesn't contain it.
I've not yet infected the world, but I occasionally let games where I've got all but one or two islands run their course to try and get the infected population to die out in fewer than 100 days, and I've never succeeded in even that half of the badge.
