1. Pick Parasite. 2. Start in Canada, New Zealand, Cuba, Greenland, West Europe or Madagascar or restart. 3. Get rid of starting symptom and buy fever. 4. Wait for about 30 evol. points then buy tier 2 and pulmonary edema, then sell anything else. 5. Buy 2 resistances for all but the starting. 6. Wait to infect all countries, if Madagascar or Argentina shut down shipyards/borders, restart. 7. Once every region is infected, buy boils. 8. Once everyone is infected, buy tier 3, drug resistance 4, and whatever "... failure" is available. 8. Wait to win.

i so easily infected Madagascar and the rest of the world EXCEPT JAPAN dang...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and i did not start at madagascar , firstly i cleared all of the symptoms ( sold them all ) so it was less visible and then i got all the resistence and transmission after i thought all countries were infected i bought symptoms but to my horror , i did not infect japan and lost :< great game though.

i had almost gotten the entire world infected and the my computor trolled out and updated and shut down right before i could infect madagascar without the vaccine even being started

It doesn't make sense that closed borders would keep a disease carried by rodents and insects from entering a region that shares a huge border with an infected region.

Got it everywhere and it looked like a ship was just about to arrive in Madagascar when they closed their docks. Argentina closed their border and shipyards too but everyone else in the world has died from AIDS.

Really liked the game, but I didn't like how 'transmission' only makes the game more difficult for you. It's not like it helps neighboring countries to contract the disease in some way, it just helps spread the disease faster inside that country, which is not that important...

Either I'm too stupid to do it, or this game is too difficult. Exterminating humanity is kinda hard when, however you try, some country (usually Madagascar) closes all connections and becomes safer then a bunker

After may tried I got madagascar. Who knew that Japan would take over the role of madagascar. No symptoms and they closed shipyards and airports in a blink of an eye as soon as someone noticed a plague (somehow) in Eastern Europe

Diary of a Disease, day 28: I started on Madagascar on day 1. Until now, not a single chance to spread to other continents. That moment when you think it'll work and you infect all the countries before they start shutting down but the first country to shut it's shipyards and the last to not be infected is madagascar o-o

It's not just madagascar, it's any country that shuts down shipyards, borders, and airports. It's as if the virus is asking to cross the border into the country. -.-

Hints:
1)Climate matters. Adjust your resistence and spreading methods to the area you star in.
2)Wait until deployment of vaccine has started to upgrade only one of your resitences to level 4, and the vaccine will fail.
3)Do not upgrade your symptoms until you have Mdagascar(if you start at Madgascar...wait until you have at least 5 other countries infected).
