A real issue I've got with this game, however, is the lack of progress of infection even while the days go by, if you don't have Pandemic 2 on top. I start a game, and get set up early, but 10 days later, I still only have 30 infected because I was playing another game. It's fine if the game pauses because you're not actively playing, but to keep running the days, yet freeze progress, that's not reasonable, especially since you have to completely restart the game each time (which includes choosing Realistic, your disease type, and inputting the disease name every single time you have to start a New Game). It's very annoying.

It's rough how Realistic mode is almost entirely luck based, where often times, I can't kill the world just because no ship bothered to dock at Madagascar for 25 days before it shut down shipyards, or Peru closed its borders very quickly, both of those regions being the only ones with only 1 method of entry. Still, I know it's doable cause I've done it before, just not here.

then leave it for 3-5 mins come back and you'll have loads of evolution points to spend and start
being evil with as most countries are infected. However, unless you start in MADAGASCAR it results
in every nation/continent devoid of life except Madagascar.

Only real comment is when the vaccine fails and the world has to start over it still lists it as completed and distributed.

Done in 77 Days, somehow there was this trait that made the virus extra infective, whole world infected in 16 days, happened most likely once in 2000 tries but magically worked..

It took 3 full days for the last <100 people to die. Seriously? That put me up to 101 days, total. And I was lucky enough to start in Madagascar, too. -_-

This game is bugged, I had all countries affected by day 38, and people magically stopped dying at 65. Every place was in red condition, and everything stopped besides the time counter and days. wtf is wrong with this?

I like the idea of this game, but for gods sake... give madagaskar an airport and a bit more traffic... Afterall it is a country that basically thrives on tourism!!!

In my last game the first reported death was in Madagascar - I like to think that I killed the President and deserve the badge, but despite the rest of the world being wiped out in 2 months those pesky Indonesians have escaped me!

No lethality, yet people want to stop it. No infectivity, yet millions are infected every day. No visibility, yet everyone shuts down borders. Is it just me, or does realistic mode seem a bit... unrealistic?

great concept for a game but the major flaw is that it seems to depend completely on if you start in madagascar, resulting in restart after restart which greatly lowers the enjoyment of the game. i got the daily and after an unknown number of attempts i'm probably never coming back to the game, which is unfortunate because, again, it's only failing is that success depends almost completely on the randomly selected starting point. i will mention that this comment wouldve been much more 'internet freak out' if i hadnt waited until well after the time a started in madagascar and argentina held fast in protecting its citizens til the end.

People starve in the streets, scrounging for any scraps they can find. Looting has begun, and anarchy has set in. It is now every man for himself. Ladies and gentlemen, this is not part of today's broadcast, but I have a question for all of us who are lucky to survive. Were we just in our decisions? Did we do the right thing and ignore the super powers of the world, pretending we did not hear their pleas of help? Or was it humane to forget the third world countries, and pretend their problems didn't exist? Was it right to close our country and hospitals and forsake everyone else whilst we stayed healthy? Sept. 28, 2010 News Anchorman: Tragedy has struck society, the President has been killed. Our peaceful country of Madagascar has started to riot, and a rouge molotov cocktail smashed into his face, burning him alive on national television. Being low on food and water, and with an unknown force working against us, attacking us from water, air, and animals, we have turned on the people who have saved us. We are cut off from the world, our ports and air strips closed. The rest of the world lies in ruins, billions dead, millions burning on the coasts. On our very shores you can see burning boats and planes laid out in the form of letters spelling out HELP, even though we all know none will come.
