Was enjoyable, up until I realized that once they close all transit, or Madagascar closes it's ONLY means of travel, you're screwed. Fun to start, way too easy to lose. 2/5.

As far as getting badges goes, this game sucks. Strategy is very shallow and largely trial+error dependent with limited bearing on logic. Luck plays far too big a part, and until madagascar suddenly shuts its borders at random you have no indication of whether you'll be forced to restart. Randomising start location forces people to restart until they get an acceptable one. 85% of the time playing this game is spent with the game minimised while you do something else.

Great game! I loved it.
Please make a Pandemic 3... maybe after taking over earth having an intergalactic scale? It was awesome can't wait for the next one... :D

I started in madagascar and a boat didn't leave from it for 30 days. By then they were already finishing the vaccine.

by day 40 half of the population infected and started to picking killer traits
at the end i have all tier I & II traits and hipersensivity, ataxia and hemorrhaging
by day 95 HUMANITY OVERCOME!!
IT'S 90% LUCK!!

i'm sorry but this game is supposed to be a realistic type thing and unless a disease was incurable and highly lethal the government wouldnt shut anything down

Holy crap, I actually beat the game! On relaxed, though...
What I did was I started as a virus, and had no symptoms and had no resistances past lvl 2, and had only insect/rodent transmission. Then once I was noticed, I should have infected the world. Build up all resistances when the vaccine is being completed. Then slowly add some strong symptoms, but don't worry about visibiity/infectivity; everybody should be infected already, and they already see you!!! Then eventually you will kill off everybody, and if you're lucky, you can mutate and have more time to add some fun symptoms ^^

I won relaxed hard badge this way - Chose parasite, started in Mexico, removed all symptoms, bought first level only of each resistance, no transmissions. I put the game on slowest speed, then went sleep. When I woke up, I found every country (even Madagascar) infected and the Vaccine creation alert message on the screen, which had paused the game. I then used all my points to go to Tier IV and purchased the worst symptoms and turned the game up to high speed. It took maybe 115 days but it worked, killing everyone.

@everybody who says hes going to madagascar in case of pandamic, they wont let you in, they shut down EVERYTHING already before you even can say "pandemic".
