Doesn't even deserve a 1/5, I started in Madagasgar after about 50 restarts and 4 countries become uninfectable in the first 5 minutes. Complete crap.

use this, get all resistances lvl 2 expect drug which is lvl 1 then get airbourne and wait. Be a parasite. Worked for me :)

try starting on madagascar then sell all the symptoms that increase visibility just have fever and kidney infection/failure. and all of the haet cold and water resistance possible

i was madagascar... the first boat left the shipyard at the 63th day :D this game calls the random() function too many times. 5/2. i couldnt give it 1, couse basicly its a good idea.

Yes, maggot is correct. This game relies ALOT On luck. Where you start, when they close airports, i hate games involving luck. 3/5

would be good to have a points system. showing the number of points for visibility, leathality etc. Then you can show the number of points difference each symptom would make on the disease.

At first glance it seems like a good game but after playing a few times you begin to notice how extremely pointless it is. It's basically just luck once you figure out that the symptoms all do mostly nothing and you can infect everyone on earth with level 1 resistances. I do not see any difference between the 2 modes except that on Realistic you get fewer evolution points. I have yet to see any reason to choose something other than Virus. If you want the badges, it helps to start the game in an isolated region (Madagascar being the best obviously). Theres a good game somewhere in there fighting to get out, but right now it would be lucky to even be termed a game.

Poor execution of a great idea. While I thoroughly enjoy the well-deserved extermination of the human parasite, the game has many flaws that make it barely playable. It has some potential, but isn't worth more than a measly 2/5 until the balance issues are fixed.

no symptoms, no visibility, and still madagascar and greenland close their borders as soon as it starts spreading. Tried different combo's, the same every time. I give up.

Score lowered to 3/5. Just because the game forces you to restart untill you start in Madagascar. Although it's realistic an island closes everything down to prevent infection, it seriously takes away the fun in the game. Impossible Badge should be Annoying Badge.

I nearly bored myself to death playing Pandemic.
Same problem of the previous release: fun at the very beginning, boredom soon after. Watching cricket is more exiting...

start off in madagascar, 59 days before it spread to new zealand, then rest of the world in 5 days. 109 days to kill off everything with heart failure in realistic mode... I think that is the best i can do in 3 days. Giving up.

I have a major amount of complaints for this game, as addicting as it is..
1. the Math rate is retarted, if I'm KILLIGN 200k per day, why did it take 4 days to kill the last 3 people?!
2. I think Madagascar CHEATS!
3. shouldn't any natural disaster also effect the death/population toll, I mean, even if it kills infected people, none the less, people die from disasters too.
4. I don't think the point system is accurate, I mean, what makes you increase points faster.
5. you should have to pay points to "SELL" a symptom.
6. Why is it that anyone even notices an infection if there is no SYMPTOMS?!
There is nothing Realistic about this game... and I had finally infected all the world by day 17 with Madagascar, but and increased everything, why did it take another 200 days to get everythign killed, there is no reason for that badge to be so impossible!

This games needs two things:
1. Ability to select your own starting country - as it seems people are just doing new game to get Madagascar
2. If not 1 then Ability to RESTART - not just do New Game this way I miss out several slow screens due to pointless transitions that take time.

This is fun and all, but it'd be nice to have geographical info on countries to add to the strategy aspect of the game.

Suggestion's for if they make pandemic 3:
1. A small chance that infected try to get into closed borders. No way you can truly close borders and I assume some of the safe ones (or even infected) would want to try to get into a clean country for salvation.
2. Hospitals become less effective the less people alive in the country. Come on, in my game America has 1405 left uninfected and the hospitals are still working? BS!
