I nearly bored myself to death playing Pandemic.
Same problem of the previous release: fun at the very beginning, boredom soon after. Watching cricket is more exiting...

start off in madagascar, 59 days before it spread to new zealand, then rest of the world in 5 days. 109 days to kill off everything with heart failure in realistic mode... I think that is the best i can do in 3 days. Giving up.

I have a major amount of complaints for this game, as addicting as it is..
1. the Math rate is retarted, if I'm KILLIGN 200k per day, why did it take 4 days to kill the last 3 people?!
2. I think Madagascar CHEATS!
3. shouldn't any natural disaster also effect the death/population toll, I mean, even if it kills infected people, none the less, people die from disasters too.
4. I don't think the point system is accurate, I mean, what makes you increase points faster.
5. you should have to pay points to "SELL" a symptom.
6. Why is it that anyone even notices an infection if there is no SYMPTOMS?!
There is nothing Realistic about this game... and I had finally infected all the world by day 17 with Madagascar, but and increased everything, why did it take another 200 days to get everythign killed, there is no reason for that badge to be so impossible!

This games needs two things:
1. Ability to select your own starting country - as it seems people are just doing new game to get Madagascar
2. If not 1 then Ability to RESTART - not just do New Game this way I miss out several slow screens due to pointless transitions that take time.

This is fun and all, but it'd be nice to have geographical info on countries to add to the strategy aspect of the game.

Suggestion's for if they make pandemic 3:
1. A small chance that infected try to get into closed borders. No way you can truly close borders and I assume some of the safe ones (or even infected) would want to try to get into a clean country for salvation.
2. Hospitals become less effective the less people alive in the country. Come on, in my game America has 1405 left uninfected and the hospitals are still working? BS!

jst one little suggestion, i tried to track down which country's ships go to madagascar and it's extremely difficult, so i jst wonder if ship/flight paths can b made and tat'll b great

How to win on Realistic: The crux on realistic is everyone shuts down after your amount of infected reaches a certain point. If you buy "transmissions" you will be infecting more people, but you can't turn it off. Instead, buy a symptom that infects, like sneezing, then wait till your starting country starts infecting other countries, then turn off sneezing and just wait till everything is infected, you should have a ton of evo points and then buy transmissions and killing symptoms. gg, won twice this way on realistic.

Beat the game on Relaxed...
And I started in Canada.
That's my new starting point. Maddy takes WAAAAAAY too long to get anywhere. With Canada, you start in the West Hemisphere, which gets difficult to cover sometimes, and you have ships and planes going in to numerous islands from the start.
Canada = Amazing.

Resistance - Cold 2, Heat 3, Moist 3, Drug 4
Next, all the transmissions
Sell any symptoms if you started with them
Restart if you have not starting resistances like the trait "Durable"
You should spread to all countries in no time
Restarts may be needed

Honestly though, there should be MUCH more sea traffic than there appears to be in this game, if we're playing realistically of course. After all, how does america get most of it's... everything? Air drops? oh no, not cost effective. Ships may be slow, but there should be thousands more of them than planes.

i beat it without starting in madagascar! Heres how-
Select relaxation mode
choose bacteria
get fever
wait
get full resistence to everything
wait for 10 minutes on fast game speed-eat or play another game
once u have most of the world, sell your fever virus. if u have the points, get kidney failure. once every nation is infected, worry about getting more upgrades. preferably ones with the -kills infected faster description.
the game is still 50% luck. also, keep copy pasting this so my wlakthrough doesnt die, plz
Although i did try this and it didn’t work maybe someone else will get lucky. not my walkthrough.

This game is way too slow. Add a speed that makes it go by WAY faster. I've infected every place and now I am just watching as it takes a painfully long time to gather more points...

This tip is very useful to don't who has not surpass Madagascar.It's the best for parasite (1). unlock all of the resistance until it goes 4(2). sell symptoms(3)if it goes on all,unlock tier 4(4)make very deadly before they shut down all. this is very useful
