I also just discovered that even if everyone in a country has died, as long as the hospital hasn't been closed it will keep working on a vaccine. What, do they have robotic scientists or something?

I made a parasite with no symptoms whatsoever, and every government in the world spotted it immediately and took action to prevent the infection. As always, Madagascar, Greenland, and Indonesia (it's always three with me) shut down their borders, airports, and shipyards immediately to make infecting them impossible. So, even though my parasite has no symptoms (I sold the starting symptom), the very second I decide to spread using insects... every continent starts using pesticides. 2/5, it just isn't as fun or well explained as the original.

this is really a game...
it has "real"/"true" challenges posed to common homo sapiens sapientis brain...
this would go well if it had more support... 4/5

It is a well thought-out system of mechanics, but the actual GAME part is fairly boring, since you have little control of what happens.
-needs to go faster
-need more control of the disease
-multiplayer might add some strategy. You can have multiple diseases infecting people, and the symptoms could help some, and harm some. Like malaria vs. syphilis.

Pretty boring.
Loads of things don't have effect, shouldn't have effect.

Would like to see a % bar of infected and such. Hard to infect the world but easier to be able to infect them now its just borders closed = loss.
A bigger infrastructure would be cooler.
Do bugs have more effect in areas like africa and such?
Not enough detail about how the game works but most likely it doesn't work at all.
More effect when floods are there? Should be but is there?
Could be so much more if it wasn't so random and you could lose so easily.

@Moshilops: A microorganism that is completely unnoticeable and has no symptoms causes the entire world to shut down everything, and you say this game is incredibly realistic? Seriously... how do they even know the disease exists if it has such a low profile? It's not like people are regularly inspected with microscopes to see if they have any new-looking blobs wiggling around in them, and even if they were, it is ridiculous to assume that all of humanity would freak out and stop civilization. Oh, and Blaziken_rjcf, you forgot to put in the fact that after a certain point no one ever dies of old age/disasters/natural causes, as well as no more babies are born.
I admit, this game IS good and has the potential to be great, it just has some major flaws.

things that are wrong in this game:
1: madagascar only has a seaport, after that its impossible to infect
2: people close everything down when a disease has absolutely no symptoms whatsoever
3: how can a parasite be airborne?
4: should be faster
5: disasters are worthless, they should at least destroy the borders
6: i cant go to the tutorial or high scores ingame
those are all i can remember for now

X4MHD: A vaccine isn't a drug! The dru powerup means hospitols have less effect. Read into it more. This is an incredibly realistic game, stop assuming that ir's going to assume humans are complete fools. We could discover a disease that appears just like anyother. Stop complaining!

Played it a couple more times, and realized that the game is more borked than I originally thought:
* borders stay closed.
* almost impossible to infect madagascar.
* disease gets discovered even w/o visibility.
* +4 drug resist gets success vaccin???
* seriously flawed traits. How can u call 5 billion-infected-people a HARMLESS disease? Score nerfed: 2.5/5 I expect a fix update! ^^

Annoyed me that if you remove all the symptoms so it isnt noticable after a while all the countries start closing their borders and airports. Doubt the world would shut down all commerce due to a sniffle no matter how infectious it is.

Fun ass game. It might take some time to play and get better at it, but I killed half the world my first time through. 5/5. The only downside is that once they all close down shipyards, airports, and borders your disease is screwed.

6.3billion infected with bacteria that causes fever, hypersensitivity, and edema but ZERO deaths...on the realistic setting..nonsense sorry but this game sucks
