Fun game, but a little retarded, because my disease had no symptoms, and after about 25 days the world started developing a vaccine -.- Plus, my Peru pulled a Madagascar, lol. Now to work on killing people off...

when an uninfected country closes borders etz, u've lost. the easy way to beat the game is to "new game" untill u start on madagascar. Choose parasite. Sell ur first symptom at once. buy lvl 4 drug res, and lvl 2 on the other resistances. then buy all the transmission stuff, one by one. Now all u do is wait. Untill all countries are infected, then buy the bad stuff ^^
if an uninfected country "closes down", start over
this is my best tactic ; )

Really interesting little game, thumbs up! Strangely addictive.
It would add a lot to the experience if the color change was more obvious when a country first gets infected, and when a country is wiped out (greyish maybe?).

Also, countries should go off alert if you sell off some of the more visable traits. That way, a very infectious disease could still spread, without any visual signs.

Good idea. Poorly realized product. The Madagascar problem is a big FAIL. Evolution points are way out of balance. Sometimes they come really fast. Othertimes, really slow. Once you add some lethality to your disease, the death toll goes from 0 to millions in one quick shot. It should be more gradual. Diseases that are insect and rodent borne should be able to cross borders regardless of border closing. Islands shouldn't be able to close their borders. Even if airports and shipyards are closed, there should still be some chance the disease will make it into a country, even on islands like Madagascar and New Zealand. Fix these problems, and you'll have a pretty good little game.

whew,as soon as i finished,my comp froze,and i had to restart,thank god it registered b4 i restarted. i really like this game,even though its extremely luck based, i give it a 4/5
