A ship got trapped when all the ports in the world closed. For the rest of the game it bounced helplessly around the atlantic. :P

So I wanted to see how long I could let this game go on. I noticed that when the vaccine fails the first time and goes into production again, it never gets deployed the second time around.

There's 3 things I'd like to complain about in this game:
1.) It's almost impossible to win unless you start on Madagascar
2.) It's too hard to evolve yourself after you've played for a little while
3.) Certain symptoms (like coughing and sneezing) shouldn't really alert people, because they're very ordinary symptoms and not necessarily a sign that someone has gotten YOUR super-disease of death.
And a bug/glitch I noticed: some countries (like Madagascar) lack an airport. Despite this, it can still be seen (if your disease has alerted people) that Madagascar has shut down all of it's 0 airports.

Irenicus, your point about the immune response is well taken but keep in mind time is measured in days here. People with no symptoms do not go to a doctor, and not all blood tests check for white blood cell count. It's hard to imagine enough symptomless people getting white blood cell counts within a month or so in order to spark a global panic.

Suggestions for badges:
Close Greenland's hospitals
Infect Madagascar without starting there
Exterminate all of mankind

I think this is a good sequel and a good game, it takes a few tries and some strategy to understand it and be successful but that's good. I was annoyed with the fact that diseases that have no symptoms caused panic attacks after a certain time (infections? time?), but it is logical if you think about it. Even if the disease has no symptoms, it would trigger the immune response in a human body, and that would show up as increased white blood cells in the blood-work. Quite logical that a country would start panicking when half their population had increased white cell counts for no reason (this could be a disease with an incubation period of 2 years, they wouldn't wait 2 years to stop its spread).

The numbers need to be more readable, and boats need to not be so random. All the "madagascar" complaints would vanish if boats didnt drift around the sea randomly.

Wiped out mankind, score was 77k. Started out as a virus in Mexico with fever and heat resistance. Got myself cold resistance, airborne and waterborne then left the game run. The world started panicking, every place except North Africa got infected, bought heat resistance 2 and immediately after North Africa was infected. After that I started buying lethal symptoms as I could afford them, when vaccine showed up I bought drug resistance (not before). Hope this helps other people.

For all of you complaining that this is not realistic think again, first the disease can evolve so at first there are no symtoms, but they can have or develop them later on. But i will agree that it is stupid to close down borders and stuff when there is only about 4 people getting infected a day and thirdly screw Madagascar

I agree with xblindghostx, in fact i already told everyone i know that if a giant life threatening sneeze happens....move to madagascar!
