So, what's the point in allowing the game to continue once your disease is marked as cured? You can no longer infect anyone, so if there is a non-infected populace, you may as well end it there.

Great game. It provides HOURS of gameplay lol. Although it took me half a day to finally win, i'll say this. Pandemic 2 is awesome. 5/5

needs better graphics and border control is pretty annoying. the governments shouldn't be as touchy either. needs more realism. a cough in brazil shouldn't close down half the world.

Madagascar really needs a fix, it has no airports so the only way people would go there or go from there is by ship, but I have never seen a ship go into its port.

It seems like you can either infect everyone (except for island nations), or you can be lethal, but not spread nearly as far. In either case, you reach a point where you can't get points to evolve any further.

there is a hidden symptom, and it is how people detect it before you make symptoms. the main function of these diseases is that it turns everyone a shade of red.

there should be a chance to infect countries that air inaccesible. air/water and insects easly can cross borders (depending what we want to infect). peru closed its border quite early in one game.
and best strategy for me was: chossing virus, getting airborn and 1 point in every resistance early, then waiting till every region is infected...

stop moaning about madagascar. Just take away all symptoms and upgrade all resistances and it will get infected. Then upgrade symptoms.

This game is fun but its frustrating. Madagascar is like impossible to kill.
AirBorne diseases should spread EVERYWHERE!
Boats and Airplanes should carrie more infected people.

i had every country infected till i killed more than i infected and killed every single infected person. now i have about 8 countrys free of virus

@ Rexosorous: 1) no, some symptoms have a negative effect on your illness, making it more noticeable but not more infective or lethal; 2) it depends on the neighborhood: if a country is sourrounded by infected people, it can't open borders! 3) that would help, just as much as giving Peru an airport or a shipyard; 4) no sense; 5) they already have: different grow speed and noticeability, for instance; if you mean symptoms, there is plenty of them and no need to add other ones; regarding the suggestion to move into flooded areas or to control infected mice... that's not this kind of game.

Kind of impossible how when you have AirBorne, that the Borders still manage to block the air. You'd also think that water wouldn't stop air from going place to place too.

some things that could change
1) selling of course gives back points
2) if a region isnt close and/or is not affected by the virus it should be able to reopen stuff
3) GIVE MADAGASCAR A FRIGGIN' AIRPORT!!!!!!
4) you should allow your disease to evolve (e.g. you start from a virus to parasite to bacteria etc.)
5) for every class (virus, parasite, bacteria etc) should have different abilities (e.g. parasites can devour red blood cells or something)
Just a suggestion:
We should be able to control stuff like if Canada has a flood and our disease is waterborne then we should be able to control our disease to move to the flooded area, and if its spread through bugs and mice then we should be able to control the bugs and mice so that we can choose when and where to attack

You guys must be having some terrible luck. I started a VIRUS in Australia, it spread like Brit Spears spreads her legs on crack, withing 30 minutes the world was effed.

so 3 thing this game need to change, selling should give back points... things should be able to re-open, and a region w/o a hopsital or with a close hospitol shouldn't be able to hand out a vaccine

yes, i agree with some of the other comments: even though borders, airports and ports are closed doesn't mean (infected) people won't find ways to enter those countries/regions. heck, if mexico can do it, i'm pretty sure indonesians can sneak onto australia (no offense to the mexican ppl, lol)

I don't know how much this works but it did for me. Make no symptoms at first. Get moisture level two and waterborne. Set the time for fast and you have a good chance at getting madagascar. also you get a ton of points. (parasite)
