this game is hard but very fun
(TIP:be a paricite on realistic mode when u start sell all symptoms u have then wait till ur evolution points is 100 then buy al resistances and transmition types then buy all the deadliest symptoms u can buy then wait till the world is dead)

everytime i see something happen to madagascar (droughts, flood, etc.) i giggle to myself and say 'c, if u madagascarian noobs would just let me kill off ur population, this wouldnt have happend'........then they shut down their port........lol

couple of things, first of all, nice concept, and they did an ok job with it.......2nd of all, transmissions r useless, 1 hour after u do one, every country gets rid of it, whether it be gassing or masks.....3rd of all, airbourne transmission should be able to get madagascar or other islands infected, 4th of all, idc what everyone else says, it is alot of luck, because ive started out in canada 2 times, did the same thing, and the first time madagascar got infected, the 2nd it didnt, the first time everyone but argentina got infected, the 2nd time everyone but NZ and aussieland got infected...........so yes, it IS luck based to some extent

Personally, I think this game fails to take in a couple of uncontrollable factors: migration and weather. Cross-species infection and weather patterns should make infection in closed regions at least marginally possible.
I also wish that it would give notice when victory is no longer possible, instead of continuing on its merry way.

Yeah I got all the badges with the guide, and I even infected Madagascar AFTER they closed the boundaries. They closed the port, but then their ship came in and they were infected and I was like heck yeah! I love this game :) But yeah, most of it's luck. After you beat the game, though, it's still fun to play cause then you just make a disease and make it as horrible as you can :) Awesome

I don't see how starting in madagascar helps. Half the time it takes forever for your shipyards to even get the disease to another nation... and then the world goes up in arms shortly after that and closes everything off. The impossible badge is crazy luck based.

Yes,it works.But you needn't start in the countries given up.I started in Australia and disease spreaded all countries EXCEPT MADAGASCAR(i believe if you have some luck,you can infect madagascar too...)
