My disease is invisible, has no symptoms and countries are shutting down everything. It doesnt make sense. On the plus side a vaccine failed and the disease mutated. :)

A virus or parasite that wipes out the entire world population isn't a very good one... How is it going to survive after everyone is dead?

OMG I tried it a lot of times, never managed to infect madagascar.. the first time I did, Brazil's the only one that shut me down ;_;

One thing that would help, would be that if the three stats (lethality, infectivity, visibility) were listed as numbers, and when looking to select a disease, it listed how it would affect all of them more specifically. This way you could actually see how the different disease types changed the game.

Other things I've learned from Pandemic 2
The instant a country shuts its borders that's it, nothing can get across. Not your infected insects, not rodents, not even the air that's carrying your virus.
Hospitals can continue running and helping to develop a vaccine when the entire population of that country is dead.

I also love it when ships or aeroplanes are sailing/flying and the destination shuts. The just go around in strange circles.

being able to infect with insecets should make all countries vonerable not just the 1s that aare already infected and insects and rodents cant be stopped from going through boerders so closeing them would not do anything but slow infection

ROTFLMAO, I started in madagascar and *no matter what* disease didn't got OUT of it! All airports, ports, border opens, all resistances all transmission methods, all the population infected but... IT NEVER WENT OUT! Lol this game is totally screwed.
