After about fifteen tries, I finally started in Madagascar. My reaction was award-winning.
Laughter will kill the entire world.

This is one of those scenarios that I would willingly swim to another country just so they feel the death too, f you Madagascar.

...I was so excited when my little virus infected Madagascar, but then Peru never got infected. qq Peru was the only one to never get infected.

Mom: Oh hes fine.
Kid: I dont feel very well *cough, cough*
Mom: Oh you'll be fine!
Kid: Mommy! Daddy just had a heart attack!
Mom: He'll be fine! How many times do i have to tell you?
Kid: It says here on the news that there is a disease spreading throughout the world though! What if dad has it?
Mom: We should be fine.
Kid: Mom the neighbor just passed out in his yard, and so did Grandpa upstairs!
Mom: So whats your point?

I wiped out half of the world and every country closed its borders, but yet I find this one lonesome boat sailing all around the world looking for somewhere to port. :P

Restarted 40+ times on realistic trying to get madagascar as a starting region. Finally I'm like 'screw this, I'm playing on relaxed'. First region: Madagascar. :(

Its really kinda silly to have to restart a game 10 times to get the appropriate starting values and then 20 more times so 1 country (yes, madagascar) doesnt panic just so I can beat the game. Are there no birds in this sim? If its a strategy game, I should have some way to win, even if it takes a lot longer because I screwed up in the beginning. It seems common sense that a highly transmitable disease with no symptoms or cure should end up infecting the entire world. Am I right?
