Peru locked all transport in the nick of time and were spared, but it was incomprehensibly satisfying to watch Madagascar void of all life, to see those last 3 infected drop to zero. Sweet chocolate Satan, I finally got them.

President of Madagascar: People of Madagascar, to prevent infection from this terrible pandemic, we are closing all contact. All shipyards, borders, and airports are to be closed at all costs.
Random Citizen: But sir, we don't have any airports for one thing. And besides, no one really comes here much. (I do not mean anything I say to all of you people who think I mean offense. This is just a joke.) So there is no purpose to close the borders or the airports. And if that isn't reason enough, all of the other countries' borders have been closed. We are completely safe.

First, you sell all of your symptoms. Then, you slowly buy the resistances. I recommend starting with waterbourne and wait until Madagascar is infected. Then get the rest of the resistances. Then you wait a few minutes. Next you get the symptoms. Go from least lethal to most lethal. You'll have killed off the world in no time.

Madagasgar is roughly twice the size of New Zealand.... Naturally, the smaller island should get an airport in addition to a shipyard. It makes perfect sense.

1.) Pick Virus. 2) Start in Canada, New Zealand, Cuba, Greenland, West Europe, or Madagascar. If you do not get there restart. 3) Sell the starting symptoms, and buy sneezing (unless it is what you started with, just keep it). 4) Buy 1-1-1-0 resistances but no transmissions (they trigger closures). 5) Once four countries are infected, sell sneezing to get rid of visibility. 6) Wait until all countries are infected. If Madagascar closes its shipyards/borders or is not infected in 30 days, restart. 7) Buy all four drug resistances AND sneezing, coughing, and vomiting. 8) After a few days, unlock tiers 2-3, (do not buy tier 4 ever!) keeping whatever symptoms it gives you. 9) Buy fever, fatigue, diarrhea, pulmonary edema, and hypersensitivity. Then save for kidney failure and ataxia. 10) keep this comment alive Thanks for the comment! I got 13th of all time by using this method.
