One of the best games I ever played. Parasite is the best so you can infest every country before they shut down everything. First make it powerful, then buy all transmissions. Once all is red, make them die, grab a can and be happy.

The Blue Sky virus... made everyone's kidneys explode... followed by sweating buckets of infected blood. And as the last man and woman (in North Africa, I find this to be an oddly fascinating outcome...) reach out to each other, other knowing the end is near... The final form of the virus emerges. And they vomit in each others face. And die.

nauto it didnt work when the virus spread (i did the steps u recommended) the world greenland shut down everything without being infected (sad thing because i had the luck to be in madagascar in the beginning and spreading the virus to china in few days.)

For a good start on relaxed world domination try this- Start with a virus, make sure it causes fever and either, coughing sneezing or vomiting (vomiting is most risky but faster, but if it goes on it can make people close borders anyways). Buy all the waterborne airborne rodents and insect bonuses then shut off everything but Fever after you buy the distribution bonuses. This keeps your virus low key and still spreading. Wait a while to build up points and spread. It's good to buy drug resistance during this time, but make sure you upgrade to tier 3 and shut off everything but Fever. Keep checking the world screen, when all locations are infected, buy hemorrhaging. Make sure you head off the vaccine by buying full drug resistance at some point.
Then watch the world turn red.

The vaccine has worked as well as the humans hoped! You are basically hosed! Even though you improved your drug resistance WHILE the vaccine was being distributed, which should logically make the vaccine worthless because it's targeting a lesser version of the disease. Oh well, time to restart again.

Well I'm waiting for everyone to die, their vaccine managed to save 45 people in China. I think that counts as human extinction unless they are all farmers. But I bet the game isn't going to see it that way. Oh well...

This is so retarded. How does a virus/bacteria (as aba123 suggested) that has no symptoms no effects EVEN GET DETECTED. I'm a god damn biologist and i was like sweet design and spread a virus game this will be fun and I can use my 4 years of biology to help me win... OH WAIT THIS GAME WAS MADE BY IDIOTS.

Gee, i finally got madagascar! Lovely how the one time out of 100000 you get it, theres always one dumb place that turns into a madagascar. Apparently Obama shuts down everything when a man in madagascar sneezes :/

Whiped out regions should go black or grey or some such. If anything, there should also be visible hues of deepening red as infection percentage rises.
