Luck based missions and lack of any real strategies are bad design. Even if you follow instructions precisely, only one in 40 attempts with perfect conditions will result in 100% completion. This game is horribly flawed to the point where it is mocked by most gamers. The only reason this gets plays is because it is so awful and random that it has become memetic, so congratulations to the developer: You made a game so shitty that people pay attention to you.

This game is too passive and random for a "strategy" game. Basically you pick your mutations and then sit there and hope you get lucky infecting countries before they close down. Even if you do everything right and go totally stealth, you still have a slim chance of catching them all before everything's locked out, and then you can't win. Even worse, if a country with a working hospital locks down before you infect it, (unlikely but it can happen), you're guaranteed to get wiped out eventually.

i figured out a new thing:Countries that havent got water plants depend on other countries water plants so if you infect them this can make the country with no water plants be infected i tried it and thanks to this I INFECTED MADAGASCAR AND WON THE IMPOSSIBLE BADGE woot!

@sirylj, by definition its not spam if its useful. And to your "guide", 1) Parasite= too slow to get impossible badge. 2) Spawning in Madagascar is not good for impossible badge, it can take up to 50 days for you to infect another country. 3) No sneezing= too slow infection rates. 4) high resistances are unnecessary, a waste of points, and trigger shut-downs. 5) Too many lethal symptoms, while having low infection rate, can lead to killing all infected, thus making it impossible to infect more. 6) Only useful direction.

@Ikara - Lucky you! I just did the game on relaxed to get the 3rd achievement, and I didn't even realize I started on Madagascar (mostly because I wasn't paying attention most of the time, and still won)

Stop posting that stupid spam comment. And besides, this is how you really do it...
1 - Be a parasite.
2 - Keep restarting it until you start at Madagascar.
3 - Sell all symptoms so you have no visibility.
4 - Keep buying resistances. Drug, Heat, Moisture, then Cold. Drug is important for later if you don't already have EVERYBODY infected because if the vaccine works and not everybody is infected, you lose. Then Heat because more places are hot, them moisture... etc.
5 - Once you're disease has spread to everywhere, you can start buying symptoms to kill the infected.
6 - Now that you have a few symptoms bought, just put the game on fast if you haven't already and just wait.
(Don't buy transmissions, they aren't worth the money when you need to use it on other things)

I am wondering something. rats and mosquitos aren't even blocked by borders, so they should be able to move through borders freely.
If the continents are connected by land, the rats should spread the disease, and if there is a small ocean, the bugs should spred the disease.

Hah! Started in Greenland and infected Madagascar on Day 6! By Day 24 I had infected all regions without anything being closed. This game is (almost) all luck.
