hahah1.) Pick Virus. 2) Start in Canada, New Zealand, Cuba, Greenland, West Europe, or Madagascar. If you do not get there restart. 3) Sell the starting symptoms, and buy sneezing (unless it is what you started with, just keep it). 4) Buy 1-1-1-0 resistances but no transmissions (they trigger closures). 5) Once four countries are infected, sell sneezing to get rid of visibility. 6) Wait until all countries are infected. If Madagascar closes its shipyards/borders or is not infected in 30 days, restart. 7) Buy all four drug resistances AND sneezing, coughing, and vomiting. 8) After a few days, unlock tiers 2-3, (do not buy tier 4 ever!) keeping whatever symptoms it gives you. 9) Buy fever, fatigue, diarrhea, pulmonary edema, and hypersensitivity. In a game when I started in Madagascar my virus didn't touch the entire Eastern portion of the world: North America, South America, Greenland...Actually this probably the worst game of this I've ever played.

stupid madagascar always thinking oh no a mouse shut down our ships stop the transportation cut us off from the rest of the world. I have played this game 100 times and i only got madagascar infected 1 time and then stupid New Zeland goes and shuts down everything making it impossible to get them to get infected.

GAY!!!! I started in madagascar and I bought sneezing... 4 seconds after i started they shut down EVERYTHING and stopped me...

I destroyed eveyr other country except Brazil. That's right not Madagascar. No Madagascar was my starting place. Madagascar wasn't good enough for destruction.

Starting in Madagascar and then working with the Manual Nauto98001 posted, worked for me. Impossible Badge with roughly 96 Days. Argentina and Peru were a very close call.

ok after playing for half an hour doing nothing but restarting and a total of 100 restarts with 0 times starting in madagascar im quitting and saying F*** YOU PANDEMIC II

i just dont get it. i watched the number of infected in south africe jump between 500 and 900 for over 6 days and then madagascar shut down everything. why wont that crap jump over?

As others have said, this game fails miserably because you made the world governments a bunch of bloody germophobes that shut everything down, even if the virus is virtually invisible due to its complete lack of symptoms. What a crock of shyte!
