Great concept and a huge improvement over the original. It could use another speed-increase though, gets a bit tedious just sitting around waiting for points when you need 15-20 of them.

It took me forever to beat this game, and once I did, I wasn't connected to Kongregate so I can't prove it by showing my friends on the scoreboard! ARGH!!!
I did kill half the world in 20 seconds though. I spread my bacteria to everyone in the world first, then BAM! Necrosis! Literally, the world population cut in half.

I liked the idea of the game but when I realised best strategy is to "do nothing for 20mins" I changed my mind.. it's not a strategy game. It's a patience game.

my virus, i made it spreadable in every way, extremely contagious, and some resistance, as soon as the whole world quarantined itself, to prevent the deployment of the vaccine, i stuck it with lvl 1 tresistance, to spread later to clean regions, and its leathality up

Boddy, having Resistance too high and too much (more than 1) Transmission Methods and Symptoms make Madagascar and Cuba and most Islands shut down.

I won as a water parasite.
parasite has highly resistant to environment and less visible, thus very suitable for waterborne.
I made sure my parasite is highly moisture resistant before evolve it into waterborne.
I only choose water related symptoms.

I got fever, and all the resitances to level 2 and airborne, waited until the world was infected, then I spent my 50 Evo Points on the resistences and a deadly symptom. 1 billion people simultaneously died. =)

I agree with Redgoldandgreen, I had no symptons whatsoever and everyone shut down their Borders, Airports, Ports, this obviously represents a massive flaw in the game. At least Pandemic 1 made sense.

I agree with what moshilops is saying about the realism thing. It just isn't close enough to how these things go down. Also, it needs badges very very badly. 3.5/5 for now.

Tip on infecting madagascar as bacteria:
1. If you havent started in it, ONLY Upgrade the 1st tier of symptoms.
2. Then upgrade to water transport.
3. If its not infected yet, continue upgrading resistance
4. It should be infected by now. If it isnt, you started too far away from it or your luck is rotten.

Try this. 1st spread the disease then once you have the whole world, start buying the symptoms that make your lethality level go really high.
