1.) Pick Virus. 2) Start in Canada, New Zealand, Cuba, Greenland, West Europe, or Madagascar. If you do not get there restart. 3) Sell the starting symptoms, and buy sneezing (unless it is what you started with, just keep it). 4) Buy 1-1-1-0 resistances but no transmissions (they trigger closures). 5) Once four countries are infected, sell sneezing to get rid of visibility. 6) Wait until all countries are infected. If Madagascar closes its shipyards/borders or is not infected in 30 days, restart. 7) Buy all four drug resistances AND sneezing, coughing, and vomiting. 8) After a few days, unlock tiers 2-3, (do not buy tier 4 ever!) keeping whatever symptoms it gives you. 9) Buy fever, fatigue, diarrhea, pulmonary edema, and hypersensitivity. Then save for kidney failure and ataxia. 10) keep this comment alive

How do they track diseases with no symptoms? Do people go to the Doctor and say "Doc I've been feeling perfectly healthy" and the doctor says "we better test your blood you could have dormant diseases in your bloodstream"?

I just found one of the most annoyingest thing's ever on this game... Step 1- Choose realistic mode. Step 2- Choose the bacteria strain. Step 3- Play it on Super-slooow motion. Step 4- Enjoy having your brain *beeped* into ultimate boredom -_-

Got Madagascar, I think Finally! then I look at CUBA the one time I infected Madagascar I didn't get Cuba. I rage quit.

FINALLY got Madagascar.
Get a parasite with fever as the only symptom. Have rodents, 2 cold, 2 heat, 1 moisture and as man drugs as you like. Then wait, and it should spread without Madagascar closing the borders.
Also, Madagascar only trades with New Zealand, so infecting New Zealand is essential to get Madagascar.

I started in Madagascar, somehow it took 45 days, and the entire population of Madagascar was infected before it finally spread to another country...
