i've been watching madagascar for 5 minutes (30 game days about) and i have yet to see a ship land there and the ports are definitely open

Does the name matter? I used "Man", "Death", "The Bubonic Plague", and "Homo sapien(s)"-with and without the s at the end-among others....they worked to a good degree...until everything started shutting down, and all. Might end up calling it "The Terminator", in the hope that it would work at killing off the enemy...

lol greenland sent out a ship and since all shipyards were closed the entire game the ship just sailed around in circles XD. Good game btw, although gets a lil boring after a while 3-4/5

1.) Pick Virus. 2) Start in Canada, New Zealand, Cuba, Greenland, West Europe, or Madagascar. If you do not get there restart. 3) Sell the starting symptoms, and buy sneezing (unless it is what you started with, just keep it). 4) Buy 1-1-1-0 resistances but no transmissions (they trigger closures). 5) Once four countries are infected, sell sneezing to get rid of visibility. 6) Wait until all countries are infected. If Madagascar closes its shipyards/borders or is not infected in 30 days, restart. 7) Buy all four drug resistances AND sneezing, coughing, and vomiting. 8) After a few days, unlock tiers 2-3, (do not buy tier 4 ever!) keeping whatever symptoms it gives you. 9) Buy fever, fatigue, diarrhea, pulmonary edema, and hypersensitivity. Then save for kidney failure and ataxia.

Ok I officially think getting madagascar infected is impossible. I havent gotten it infected once and ive played through this game fifty times and madagascar always never gets infected. I GIVE UP!!

Although Nauto98001's walkthorugh is good, I've found an even more effective one, it's written by Seth1134 and all credit goes to him:
1. Pick virus and start in Greenland.
2. Sell all symptoms but coughing
Uhhh better walkthough to make it in 75 days…
1. Be virus, start in greenland.
2. Sell all symptoms but coughing
3. If you don't have already, buy coughing
4. Get 1-1-1-0 res
5. Sell coughing once 7 countries are infected.
6. Infect everything
7. Get 4 drug resist
8. Buy some tier 3 symptoms and relax…
This has worked for me 3 times in a row and I highly recommend it!

THIS STRATEGY NEVER FAILS.
You want the impossible badge? You got it.
Go to realistic mode and choose parasite. Start with fever, resitances of 1-1-1-0. You infected should hover around 5-190. You can leave your game and farm points REMEBER TO HAVE GAME ON FULL SPEED. Come back in 10-30 minutes and you should have a great amount of evolution points. Buy cysts (tier 2) and full resistances.
