1.) Pick Virus. 2) Start in Canada, New Zealand, Cuba, Greenland, West Europe, or Madagascar. If you do not get there restart. 3) Sell the starting symptoms, and buy sneezing (unless it is what you started with, just keep it). 4) Buy 1-1-1-0 resistances but no transmissions (they trigger closures). 5) Once four countries are infected, sell sneezing to get rid of visibility. 6) Wait until all countries are infected. If Madagascar closes its shipyards/borders or is not infected in 30 days, restart. 7) Buy all four drug resistances AND sneezing, coughing, and vomiting. 8) After a few days, unlock tiers 2-3, (do not buy tier 4 ever!) keeping whatever symptoms it gives you. 9) Buy fever, fatigue, diarrhea, pulmonary edema, and hypersensitivity. im playing using a strategy when i see that madascar closes down its only shipyard and still isnt infected...im about to restart when i see that an unknown ship still goes into madascar anyway...i got my hopes up for nothing because nothing happened and it was not worth the time waiting that long...madascar will be the death of me

Think about which region you're in. If you're somewhere in Madagascar, when you evolve your disease by choosing the 'heat' option first. Because I'm in Australia, I chose 'cold' first. This saves you A LOT of time.

Last Time I played this, Madagascar kept Trolling me because by the time I infected most everything else the Docks and Airports closed, so I was practically Borsched

I hate this game!!!!!!! I start in USA and right after it spreads to mexico medagascar and Greenland close all ways to get to them... the impossible game..

Wow, I don't know what's worse, getting every country but Madagascar, or starting in Madagascar, and getting EVERY country EXCEPT GREENLAND.

My disease is both stealthy and famous... well, figures... I started in Madagascar this round, which is kinda good as it would be hard to get to otherwise but.... 80 days and 80% infected before it spread out to another country! then the whole world caught it by day 95. Day 130 or so, 100% all infected, day 180... still 0 death...
