1.) Pick Virus. 2) Start in Canada, New Zealand, Cuba, Greenland, West Europe, or Madagascar. If you do not get there restart. 3) Sell the starting symptoms, and buy sneezing (unless it is what you started with, just keep it). 4) Buy 1-1-1-0 resistances but no transmissions (they trigger closures). 5) Once four countries are infected, sell sneezing to get rid of visibility. 6) Wait until all countries are infected. If Madagascar closes its shipyards/borders or is not infected in 30 days, restart. 7) Buy all four drug resistances AND sneezing, coughing, and vomiting. 8) After a few days, unlock tiers 2-3, (do not buy tier 4 ever!) keeping whatever symptoms it gives you. 9) Buy fever, fatigue, diarrhea, pulmonary edema, and hypersensitivity. So it shows Madagascar as only having a shipyard. I see sometimes that a ship will leave their shipyard and go to India, but i've never seen a ship go into the shipyard. Is there no place that goes into Madagascars shipyard? Becasue if there is then if you dont get Madagascar to start with, then isn't that place the next best one?

anyone who needs a tip.......if you dont start in madagascar your just screwed...if madagascar wasnt such a small counrty we could kill it but once the game starts it shuts down everything!! its gay so.. 4/5

Yes! I did it with a few days to spare. It's completely luck based however, Madagascar doesn't go down easy at all :(. But once you have all countries infected just follow the guide above and you should get there easy. Good luck, it's needed.

It was so sad yet so funny. All of the shipyards were shut down, but there was one ship traveling the world trying to find an open shipyard. I knew I could never really kill off the entire population because of that one lone ship... and Madagascar spazzed out and shut down everything in the first two weeks! I hate that country so much.

Solution for you to survive : when all the seaports close, your ship will float endlessly everywhere. Fish for food. Convert the seawater to Fresh (future technology much?) Play dominos. Win

14 people in america were sick, so transit, airplanes, schools, boats, and all this other stuff was shut off, it was the only country infected, how is this at all realistic?!?!

So I finally start in Madagascar and then Argentina shuts its borders and shipyard almost straight away meaning that its 40 million odd residents are the only survivors.

@Creeswhodoes even if some thing is not visible it does not mean it isnt detectable so although there are no sighn of your virus it can be found
