What is challenging about this game? It's all about having pleased the RNG-God so no country would shut down all traffic before you infected it. I succeeded once (took me 108 days) and just decided it's probably not worth my time hoping for better RNG results...

Hmm.
I must say, a large majority of me playing this game involved me screaming at the ships to go to Madagascar and have an infected.
Eventually, though, I won. :D What fun!

Not going to be nice about this, but when an entire game's difficulty revolves around ONE single variable, something is wrong with the developer and their skills as a game designer. The fact that Madagascar's difficulty has become a meme does NOT make it better and will likely spur the devs to keep it, which would be the most singlehandedly immature thing they could do.

Madagascar hasn't shut down its ports yet its the starting area of a recreated century old disease that has been modified and revamped? Yet when the disease is somewhere else there all "SHUT DOWN EVERYTHING!!!!!". Jerks.

I remember one time where Madagascar SHUT DOWN EVERYTHING, but one lone boat still went ahead and landed in their closed shipyard and spread the virus. I dubbed it "NINJABOAT" for assisting me in destroying the world.

I think the madagaskar bit is does not make it hard, just ridicolous. There is no skill involved. just random luck. even when i start in madagaskar i had to wait 47 days for the first ship to leave port. arriving in russia on day 53.

visiblility bar: no blue. lethality bar: no blue. Infected 4-5 places. disease gets spotted and i lose the game. WTF!

the reason thins game is awesome is because its not a game to just win, its a game to experiment with, make combinations, and see the results.

aba , you can get madagascar off starting countries ... i had infected its whole population by day 15 , but my disease only got out at day 34 , contaminated 4 countries a bit ( sold sneez like you told ) then suddenly all other "hard" countries closed their borders ....

This game comes down to luck, really. I managed to infect the whole world in realistic mode, first try. But couldn't earn enough evolution points fast enough to make it lethal. Relaxed mode is nearly impossible to infect everyone. Countries start closing down when the disease isn't even visible.

I'm sure we all have a story about getting Madagascar, only to have another nation survive. But can you believe I saw the USA be the sole survivor?! With the possible exception of Greenland, it's the easiest nation to infect. The odds on that must be very long indeed...

i wish when the messages said something like new hazardous disease it said your disease name and for the win/lose page it would say your disease name has failed/exterminated the human race. for example: The economy has failed/exterminated the human race.
