if you're trying to go for the less than 100 days badge, you'd have to gamble on faster times. here's what i did in addition to patrickwzhere's guide:
1. don't sell starting symptoms until you've infected about 7-10 countries. do buy sneezing in addition to the starting symptom though (sell after infecting 7-10 countries too).
2. get level 4 drug resistance right away, do not wait to infect all countries. this will speed up the process of infecting all countries.
3. once all countries are infected, unlock tier 2 and tier 3.
4. focus on level 3 symptoms first: kidney disease, ataxia, and hypersensitivity.
5. then get pulmonary edema (tier 2) and vomitting (tier 1) to make sure infection rate keeps up with the death rate.
6. buy the other symptoms as you get points to help boost death rate from hypersensitivity.

Great Game but is there some trick in getting evo points faster i was waiting ages just to get enough points to get Kidney failure but it just wasn't going up.

1) Pick Virus. 2) Start in Canada, New Zealand, Cuba, Greenland, or Madagascar. If you do not get there restart. 3) Sell the starting symptoms, if any, and buy sneezing (unless it is what you started with, just keep it). 4) Buy 1-1-1-0 resistances but no transmissions (they trigger closures). 5) Once four countries are infected, sell sneezing to get rid of visibility. 6) Wait until all countries are infected. If Madagascar closes its shipyards or is not infected in 30 days, restart. 7) Buy all four drug resistances AND sneezing, coughing, and vomiting. 8) After a few days, unlock tiers 2-3, (do not buy tier 4 ever!) keeping whatever symptoms it gives you. 9) Buy fever, fatigue, diarrhea, pulmonary edema, and hypersensitivity. Been playing for the better part of two days and Finally got impossible badge. Started as a virus in New Zealand and put point into coughing, sneezing, and all level 1 resistances minus drug. I had infected the world by day 22. Then I pumped points into infecting everyone in the world. After everyone was infected, I put points into symptoms that would kill everyone. I had killed the world by day 88. But I think alot of getting the badge has to do with luck.

Seems to me that the only way to win is to start on madagasgar, maybe the developer should put an airport on that island or at least make a ship stop there once in a while.

goddammit!! all regions infected, then vaccine works!! grrr level 2 resistance heat, moisture and cold and lvl 3 for drug :@
