1.) Pick Virus. 2) Start in Canada, New Zealand, Cuba, Greenland, West Europe, or Madagascar. If you do not get there restart. 3) Sell the starting symptoms, and buy sneezing (unless it is what you started with, just keep it). 4) Buy 1-1-1-0 resistances but no transmissions (they trigger closures). 5) Once four countries are infected, sell sneezing to get rid of visibility. 6) Wait until all countries are infected. If Madagascar closes its shipyards/borders or is not infected in 30 days, restart. 7) Buy all four drug resistances AND sneezing, coughing, and vomiting. 8) After a few days, unlock tiers 2-3, (do not buy tier 4 ever!) keeping whatever symptoms it gives you. 9) Buy fever, fatigue, diarrhea, pulmonary edema, and hypersensitivity. Then save for kidney failure and ataxia. 10) keep this comment alive

I started in Madagascar, and after everybody in Madagascar was infected, a bunch of ships landed there...

Parasites have low visibility because they tend to have less lethal symptoms. Unlike viruses and bacteria which replicate without giving a damn about the condition of their hosts, parasites need to keep their hosts alive, you see.

Here's my win.
Start with Bacteria.
Start in Cuba, New Zealand, or Greenland.
Buy sneezing and sell any other symptoms, buy resistances to 1-2-1-4.
Wait until every country is infected. Generally this happens by day 35. If any country is unreachable, restart.
Once all countries are infected, buy resistances 2 for cold and moisture.
Buy symptoms as u wish :). What I do is buy all tier 1 symptoms, hypersensitivity and cysts for tier 3, and as many as u can for tier 2 after the tier 1 and 3 objectives.

Is it just me, or has anyone else played a game where a ship goes out, but never gets back on land, because they shut off all the ports. The funny thing is though, the people on the ship probably would have died on the ship during that time.

Hmm... I don't know about you guys, but I find a modification of Nauto's method to be more effective.
1) Pick BACTERIA, not Virus.
2)Start in Canada, Greenland, New Zealand or Cuba. Any country with a low population and an airport really works, but those 4 are preferable.
3)Get sneezing. If you already have it, keep it.
4)Get 1 resistance to cold, heat, and moisture; get all 4 resistances for drugs.
5)Whether or not you want to keep sneezing is up to you, but if you want to, sell it once you reach 5-10 countries. Bacteria is pretty hard to detect.
6)Once you infect all countries, buy up to Tier 3 symptoms, and keep any of them that they give you for free.
7)Buy Kidney Failure, and any symptoms you want that increase infectivity/lethality; it seems to me that bacteria kills far more efficiently.
This method is far more consistent and successful in winning the impossible badge, in my opinion.

I played over 50 rounds on both relaxed and realistic using Nauto98001's idea and they didn't work! Madascar does not get infected!!! Then I finally got Madascar I gave Nauto one more chance and tried it and it failed!!!! I AM CALLING COMPLETE BULL**** ON NAUTO'S WAY OF WINNING THE GAME!!!!! IT DOESN'T ******* WORK!!!!!!
