I love how under "realistic" setting it says game takes longer to play than casual. Yeah, it does take quite a while to refresh a game million times trying to get your disease to start at madagascar to have a chance at winning.

Maybe the game should show transportation that are carrying the virus, so we can see the spread better.
Madagascar is so hard to infect. I seriously thought on other websites that the only way to infect Madagascar is by starting there (until I read Ikilledbamby's comment here on Kongregate).

Man, I love this game (aside from the mandatory hating Madagascar), but could you please make the ships not morons? I've seen ships floating around in the North Atlantic near three or four open ports. They just float around, not docking anywhere. Then all the ports close with ships still at sea, and it's impossible to win the game.

It was half of the game when I missed Madagascar for the nth time. So I sighed and took a break with the game still on. By the time I came back, the whole world was infected. WHAT.

The key is to keep visibility as low as possible while keeping it quite infectious. Then, once it hit a lot of countries, increase it's infection rate as high as possible with effects such as Insanity.

I would give it a good rating, but since it is impossible to infect Madagascar, and thus impossible to win, I will not.

Me playing strategically: place screen on Madagascar and give the seaport the evil eye. Swear at a whole country when it closes.

4th time with a start in Madagascar, each try so far have had cuba closing down ariport+shipyard before they got infected so all the world infected except them. Game is NOT balanced. Only time i won was in New Zealand and madagascar got one of my infected boats early on. Winning is pure luck.

It's kinda sad watching a ship get turned away from port after port for months then finally, the last port closes, there is no place for the ship to dock. Also, how can you not hate Madagascar? If you don't start there everything is nightmarish.

So, they find a virus that is infecting everyone and does absolutely nothing.
They start researching a cure for it. Fine. My question is: who the hell is funding this research? "This billions will go to kill an harmless bacteria found in anyone" isn't exactly an election winning motto.

Pandemic 2's Realism: Droughts and floods at the same time in a country...sounds legit...the ability to spot a disease with zero visibility and zero symptoms...that's like real life...people start burning bodies when nobody's died yet...yep...ships sail around the world three times over to get to a country...that's accurately portrayed...Madagascar is easy to infect...yep...wait...one sec...what did I just say? || This has proved that realism isn't realistic...

ya know i one time infected EVERY THING, and get this... every person in the world was dead... BUT, A SHIP WAS STUCK IN THE OCEAN!!! i left it one for 30 mins hoping they'd land btu they never did T_T
