What many people consider praise from the Gods above (starting on Madagascar) is actually indeed the opposite. I agree, Madagascar is often one of the later places to be infected, but that doesn't overcome the fact that getting off Madagascar is just as darn hard as getting on it. Starting there will be, unless your best friends with lady luck, unlikely, getting off the place will be another gamble. Try to start in places like Australia where you have a lot of traffic, and your in good humanity killing business at the same time!

Not enough evolution points. I got everyone infected in 10 days, but I couldn't kill them all before 100 days. Even with kidney failure, fatigue, ect. Evolution points should be 1 per day, maybe 2 for Virus since it evolves faster.

I love how you can buy every symptom that can cause death and yet after 30 days with the symptoms NO ONE is dead. Wonderful.

Hmmm... so even if your disease starts in Madagascar, it doesn't evolve quick enough for the impossible badge. Oh Kongregate, why do you torture me so?

My strat for pandemic: (i got all badges with it)
Start:
Virus, ONLY VIRUS.
Get New Zeland/ Australia
Sell First symptom you start with.
Buy 1/1/1/0 resistance (that goes cold, hot, moist, and drug)
Now wait until you have ATLEAST 1 infected in every country.
Now upgrade drug to max. Buy sneezing, coughing, vomiting, diareha, kidney, hemroging, edma
Don’t do anything other then that, unless you get evo points for more deadly symptoms (fever)

still dont get why it is called Realistic mode... Extremly paranoic will be better. And I think that closing borders should not stop all migration of people, insect, rats and even stopping infected water and air even during floods and huricanes...

one weird thing happened to me:
only madagascar were left to infect, but it closed its shipyard.....then a ships enters its shipyard and spread disease to madagascar................
bug maybe? it happened more than once in other countries and with airports

Madagascar is almost impossible to infect. I haven't found a way to infect it before the shipyard is closed =/

I've been playing this game for a while on CM, and I have 3 major beefs with it... one is the fact that it COSTS points to SELL upgrades... shouldn't it GIVE you points? Another problem is that when things close, they never open again. The last thing that bothers me is all the boats that are left floating around in the water after the shipyards close... I think they should all be able to dock in a zone if ALL shipyards are closed... Especially Madagascar. lol.

3/5 - Too random! And why is it that I'll kill 95% of Earth's population in 30 days, but the last 5000 people take another 30 to kill? This is of course when you can get lucky enough to infect every country, which has only happened to me twice.

If I sell all my symptoms of the disease and it spreads all over, why does everyone start freaking out and shutting airports and ships if it DOESN'T do anything?

Even if you start in Madagascar, you likely wont get one of Canada/Greenland/New Zealand/Australia. Plus you don't get to infect anything until like day 30 when a boat finally leaves.

the game is brilliant in terms of the talent with flash.
it is a terrible game from a gameplay standpoint. it is essentially ALL luck, and the user has ZERO input.
