Soviet Russia is actually the model I use for a lot of the socialist party platform in-game. It's a sort of tongue-in-cheek implication in the game that socialists are secret communist infiltrators. And yes, they banned pornography, drugs AND religion in Soviet Russia. That's pretty common for highly authoritarian states on either the left or right. Usually the right bans them with appeals to morality and the left does so with appeals to the greater good (ie drugs and porn are a waste of time that you could be using to help your fellows instead).

@delos, couldnt you have a scandal released of yourself and then have people miss a similar slander and only read the correction, therefore making them think that the first scandal didnt actually happen?

So, in July can i play again, if i run for re-election? Because I got unelected, I want to continue to play without making a new character.
Running for re-election requires me finishing Campaign Trail, which I haven't even started. It's planned for after the lobby. For now permadeath from election loss is permanent unless you want to go to The Lobby, where you will probably later be able to switch to Campaign Trail from The Lobby.

I guess Socialist party here is closer to a Christian Socialist ideologies since they're against porn and drugs. Not a big problem actually, but i was hoping to see a Secular Socialist Party that have a liberal stance on morality(and stuffs that have no direct relations to power), but authoritarian on political stuffs(CCTV, patriot act, media censorship, forced conscription etc).
The vast majority of communist states in history have banned those things while also mandating atheism. The socialist party represents a left/authoritarian party, while the liberal party represents a left/libertarian party.
Slander does a proportion of the real scandal's damage depending on the roll. Even though it isn't true, it's still damaging because not everyone who heard it will hear the correction. It's a common occurrence in politics.

Wrong, Daddysback, the legality of prostitution is a state's rights issue. So far, though, only one state has legalised it, and even then, only in counties under a certain population. Seeing as people generally look down upon sex workers and the people that hire them, though, it likely doesn't matter to the public if you were to visit a legal pro.

Try using Chrome. This is a browser rendering issue. Also, if you don't have the font "Impact": get it.
The footer is already at the bottom of the page. Some browsers do not interpret fonts and certain sizings correctly.
The Lobby probably isn't even in a state I'd call Beta at this point (the Kongregate header is generic; I don't write it). The timetable for The Lobby depends a lot on how busy things are at work. Presumably they'll be getting a lot less busy soon, but there have been some setbacks.
