It could be better if the energy regeneration time was 5 minutes instead of what I guess is roughly 8-10 minutes. One could also make some way to use cash in a Bill to pass it easier (Bribing), a scandal. Or also Clout (Pulling Weight), a bit of a loss, or even public support (Protests and stuff), which costs constituent support, with each being unannounced (except for the last). I'll put this into the official forum besides other ideas once I figure out the damn problem of this computer to access that site, despite being able to access any other site.
It wouldn't be "better", it would just make stress more of a limiting factor. There are also ways to do what you describe (Think Tank, Committee Actions, Speaker Powers, etc)

Such a pity I lost the unique Pink Champagne when I suicided. Should have used an offshore account. Anything of similar caliber coming up early in the game? Or can you buy it at a moderate rate?

Can someone assassinate me, a.k.a. Conzie??? You can identify the right guy, he's in hospital today, addicted to Amphetamines in an attempt of suicide, with more energy than a beefed up steroid using, Chuck Norris sparring Kung Fu master?

@Fakeaccount99 (Yes, I know I could just tell you this on our forums, but I want to share my knowledge with others wondering) From what I have heard, The payout Increases with the base clout cost of the bill.

Are you allowed to poison your own bill right before the bill is done, then pass it though will minimum constitute damage?
well, to be fair, I was talking about the real one. The in-game government seems to ironically do a much better job of maintaining the nation in a reasonable state. Minus the bouts of martial law of course.

With this "Declare Nuclear War on Russia" bill, why is Russia being chosen as the default country to attack? Wouldn't it make more sense that it changes around to whichever country we have the worst relations to? Because our relations with Pakistan an Iran in here are Abysmal, while we're only on Poor relations with Russia.

minor typo, ELF would like a congressperson to speak at a members=only meeting in New Jersey. They are offering $19426 for this service, and accepting will cost 70 energy. theres an= rather than a -

Ah, point was that I'm fairly sure that war with Russia would culminate in "The End" regardless of whatever label we tried to attach to it; "conventional" vs. "nuclear"... Well, my moment of contemplation has been lost, hehe. Time to buy a squirrel, for because. :D Well, maybe not (yet).

@Zash a Conference Committee has the ability to both double the bills effects and to remove a poison clause on a bill, based on votes. Unfortunately the ability cost 30,000 clout to buy, so this won't be available early on.

War With Russia is exactly "extreme"; it could have happened at any time during the Cold War... On another note, this means that if we went to conventional war with Russia and absolutely crushed their military forces, and then built up relations again and had another war with them that we won, we could then declare nuclear war on them and the world would end.

Is there any way to get rid of a poison pill? After getting every bill I've posted poisoned it's become more resource effective to just not play.
Conference Committee can remove poison pill. Oversight committee can prevent poison pill from being played. If oversight committee is played after a poison pill, it will effectively lock in the poison pill until you get the speaker of the house to clear the oversight committee, which will allow for a conference committee.
Not all equipment will be available in both games. I think defense or something like it is going to work differently in the lobby at a basic level. Your threats in The Lobby aren't going to be coming from other players.

The blackmail message in the case of money denial is not correct, it says that the time limit was reached, instead of a message that says that he refused to pay.

Did I see someone get banned because they attacked newer congressmen with all their level-modded energy? Because that seems weird. How many mods does this game have?
No, you saw me warn someone about griefing newbies; and 3, theoretically. If you're referring to new things in the paper, I'd suggest keeping up with the announcements in the forums.

"Well, I don't have the facts to back this up, but if this bill isn't passed, then people will both lose their jobs and die en masse. And that will be on you."
Passing a bill to decrease income tax is hard :D

And nice work on the new Help page; at this point, they're a better overall resource than the clout wiki when it comes to non stat-related stuff.

Also I have to say, when you say sitting are your hands, are you doing a handstand, or are you putting your hands under your butt?
Yeah, I generally assumed that part of what you might be doing when warding off thugs is threatening them with weapons, and said weapons increase SPK... so that seemed like it worked out right.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It'd be nice to have weapons affect defense rating. I'm guessing the main problem with this would be making Military Service even more of a power play...
nah... it's more that being armed to the teeth won't do you any good in any of the situations in which assassinations occur. They all involve someone sneaking up on you or simply not being in your physical presence.

Do I have a hater crowd following me around down voting every comment I make on this game? Some of my comments are too bad.
