Also, could you change the way people in the right time zones can steal everyone else's money 2 minutes after salaries are paid. I think it would make sense if you only got your salaries when you log on to clout and maybe press a button. Because you don't get your salaries sent automatically in your bank account - you have to actively cash a check someone gives you. I think it's annoying and difficult to get my salaries stolen week after week.

The US Government doesn't exactly pay for things with real money most of the time. Spending does not imply that taxes are implemented to equal the spending (at least not automatically).

Q, would it be possible to add a character limit to the the party chats so that you can't input more than will show up once your message is posted? I can be very verbose sometimes and it's annoying getting cut off.

The bill introduction clout cost counts against your lifetime clout when your bill is passed right? If so, does playing a committee on a bill also count against your lifetime clout?
The cost of the bill is subtracted from the gain when it's applied to your lifetime clout. Committees have no effect on lifetime clout. The bill lifetime clout thing is there because if it wasn't, passing your own bills would always be preferable to gain lifetime clout as opposed to playing on the bills of others since the net clout gain is balanced between those activities.
The only way to get rid of committees is via a speaker of the house power that hasn't been implemented. Due to its non-ability to be removed, research committee is significantly different in how it affects bill at EOD when compared to poison pill, and poison pill will "win" in the long run if both are left on a bill.

How the heck does Japan still have defence if they don't have any military aid? Don't they like have a military ban or something?
I would have to assume that the massive reduction in aid would also come along with the abolition of the protectorate status of Japan. Their defense was reduced by the action, though.

No. Oversight committee stops you from playing poison pill on the bill. It doesn't remove one if it's already there. In fact, it actually locks it in because oversight stops conference committee.

No, Invoke Military service is a normal advanced ability, strong on some, normal on some, weak on some, gaffe on some bills. Without your trait, you wouldn´t have access to it.

If you're still investigating the deal with SDSilver, I'll give a quick testimony in case it's helpful. Nureth introduced Clout to a bunch of friends at my school, including me. A lot of powerful/semi-powerful red players (and one yellow) are all really good IRL friends, so it's possible and even likely SDSilver and sprspr would have made their accounts around the same time and used them on the same network. I can give you specific usernames of our other friends who can tell you the same thing if you think it'd be helpful.
