People have requested this before, though I'm not really sure how I want to handle it. A real rehab program actually keeps you addicted longer, somewhat ironically. They just give you drugs that manage the withdrawal symptoms. So I might add something where you can pay to have the withdrawals go away, but you'll be addicted longer and if you use during rehab they kick you out. The rehab option may also affect/deal with scandals relating to the drug(s) somehow.

when it says constituent support is at 5% can it actually be lower because it seems to be very hard to increase once it hits 5%
Your election chance can never go below 5%, no matter how low your constituent support is. The description of your support on the status screen will change to something about an angry mob with pitchforks and such when your constituent support goes below -10,000.

The emergence of a group of trolls (Old Crow, Bakemono, PETA, Stephen Colbert) highlights the need for a party to have some way to enforce the majoritary vision on its own members.
Maybe there should be a way to vote out/dissociate/refuse funding from the national committee, which would lead to a large loss loss of CS.
I'm not arguing for the ban of this group of people, quite the opposite, they make the game more interesting, but we should have a way to deal with it.
You already do have many ways to deal with it. When I see an x64 bill with no opposition and every time they put something in committee it's 8 votes to double and 1 or 2 to halve... I just don't see a need to implement new features to stop them. People already aren't using the options available to them. The fact that everyone managed to let that bill through is frankly kind of hilarious. It's not easy to pass something that everyone is against.

I just started playing (finished the first bill), but now I'm locked out, The message sais "The developer has locked you out of the game. You likely got a couple warnings before this happened. You were probably multiboxing. If you feel your punishment is in error, contact the developer through the Facebook page or Kongregate PMs." I don't use multiple accounts and i received no warning. somebody please help me
Well, you previously shared an IP with another user within minutes of their login, but it appears that you no longer do. This may have been some kind of coincidence. I've unlocked your account.

if constituent support falls really REALLY low your constituents should personally murder you... would be great to see it on the daily clout

I just completed a "campaign contribution" that was started 3 or 4 days ago. It paid me $5000 originally, but I didn't get my completion bonus today. I think it was supposed to be $15000. :-(

Me: Must kill Moses before he introduces fund everything
Q: I doubt that's his plan
Oh not a conspiray therory after all huh Q?
Apparently he just wanted the achievement for it, and didn't expect it to pass. Frankly I'm surprised they've done even this good of a job of propping it up considering how hard I made win bills.

delos, but the vice president doesnt instantly move up to president, the president becomes "DECEASED" until either you bother to fiddle with it or a certain time(not sure which), so what happens if the vice president dies before moving up to president?
Simply because I hadn't yet updated the game to reflect succession shouldn't be taken to mean that it hasn't actually happened yet. In technicality, it happens immediately.
Intensify makes all abilities played for either side much stronger for a short duration. Split takes a large amount of support from the bill, but spawns a bunch of random self-healing bills of the same party as the win condition.
I just explained this to you the other day when you asked. They end at the end time, and they have a chance of passing equal to the pass chance when they end.

DO YOUR BEST GUYS! THIS IS PART OF HISTORY, AND WE ALL KNOW WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE! Also Q, would CC a win bill and halving /not/ win the game for liberals?
Look at the buttons a bit closer the next time a CC comes up on it. It does something rather different for win condition bills since doubling/halving would make no sense.

Well, if both the president and vice president would get killed by coordinated assassinations, the Speaker of the House would get president, if it would happen now, it would be Kang.
Nothing special. The vice-president succeeds the president and appoints a new vice-president. Then the president dies again, and gets replaced by the vice-president.

other than the possibility of giving someone enough money to assasinate a vip do grey bills have any noticable affects on the nation?

in all honesty i'd rather not have an assassin of kings medal that shows everyone i commited the biggest scandal in the game
Are you not already getting constantly investigated? I figured that might be a problem, but then realized pretty much all high level players get investigated frequently/constantly.
Tag an equipment slot. Should you die, get unelected, etc: the piece of equipment you were wearing at the time will be put into the box as if you had stored the item itself previously. This is so you can store something while still wearing it. Largely this was implemented for owners of custom items, since wearing them would preclude storing them and I didn't want it to just be an auto loss of them if you lose your character, and obviously I wouldn't want people to not wear what they got customized either.

If someone completes a bill with the final ability play being a committee, the bill is "in committee" but completed at the same time, so we can't vote and the support bar also shows as empty before we click it.
Srs bug.

Is it possible to make it so we can easily see someone's clout tier by looking at them? The current implementation requires one of:
1. They have an active bill.
2. They are on the Cloutiest list.
3. They are CT4.
4. They are one of your Cronies.
For anyone else, you can't tell what clout tier they are.
Not exactly. Moses just committeed it straight away. It works much like a normal bill, but conference committee has a different function that's essentially for even having a chance at passing it. It can also be used to "salvage" a failed attempt, in a manner of speaking. It'll probably be easiest to just watch how stuff plays out.

I'm interested in knowing whether 'Almost Flawless Past' affects the ability of people to uncover scandals on said person with that trait.
Yeah. The way it works is that an investigation has to be of at least a certain roll to even have a chance of finding a scandal. The value of that cutoff point is higher when you investigate people with nearly flawless past.

What percentage of a pass chance does a binary need to pass. i though you needed more than 50% or more than 80%. can i please have an explanation of binaries being passed?
He didn't exactly abolish it. If you see someone on the wrong side of a binary on the list, it means the court struck down the bill. I may indicate this differently in the future.

would i be correct in saying that a quick scandal coverup covers up anything in the basic store, a thorough one covers up anything in the black market and the 50k one covers up anything in skullduggery?

CT2 (Green) Needs Campaign Contributions that make sense. Right now, I can only do ones that take 300, 500, 2500, or 3000 clout. There's nothing in between.
This was originally included and removed for performance reasons relating to an apparent bug/shortcoming in SQL. Fixing it is on my to-do list, but it'll probably take a while as it's going to be something I have to hack around in a crappy way.

Delosford - there are about 4-5 of us who all play this now. We work together and are all working on the same network or same computers but on different shifts. We all do have our own accounts on here as well.

i think it would be funny to be able to get campaign contributions to introduce other parties win bills "introducing fund everything has cost you ALL your constituent support"
unfortunately, such a thing would be much more likely to just uselessly take up a slot for a while, which is why binaries and win conditions don't show up there.
Your account got picked up for multiboxing because you're playing from the same IP as another user. Did one of your friends just show you the game in person from their computer or something?

it's mission failed. not fission mailed. amidoinitrite? also, if you can't use assassinations and stuff to grief then what is griefing?
I dunno. There's strong protections against griefing with just about anything in-game, which is why I say "should you manage to find a way" in the help.

also protip: it's spelled Laissez-faire

So since the game shows other countries defence shouldn't their be binary bills to "Consider attacking them" (A Even better way to waste our money!)
Like we spend our own defence to attack them. (But only people with bad relations to us) this new feature would mess up the game faster for us!
