1/5 stars I just got the Badge of the Day, and have to say, do not play unless you REALLY want the Badge of the Day, or the other badges. Game has potential, but the luck involved to win a battle, where you HAVE to wait for the right cards in your hand, or the wrong cards in the computers, makes it awful. I had to play Challenges 4, 5, and 6 three to five times each before I was lucky enough to get the correct cards.

I hate the dumb ass card and turn based games that have been appearing on badge of the day.If I wanted to play with cards,I'd do it in real life, not in computers.

I dont know why people are having issue with the last 2 challenges just build this deck they easy(for all 8 challenges).
3 hive mind, 5 enkor bot, 5 pincer bot, 5 sniper bot, 5 ss sentry, 5 frailty. the frailty/sniper bots let you kill of creatures very fast, the enkor bots add you some health, the hive minds give all your units a permanent +1 boost per hive played. and the sentrys are your killer unit. i did all 8 challenges back to back with this deck didnt loose 1 time.

One of the laziest ways to defeat the 1 hp challange is to go white deck. The Prismatic Spring and Medical Ward combined with Fortress allows you to live forever, and all you have to do is grab some bandaids for the beginning, then just pump white and outdeck him ftw.
Heres an example deck:
5x Prismatic Spring
4x Bandaid
5x Solarian Fortress
3x Global Enlightenment
3x Medical Ward
2x Paitence
Total Count : 22
And its already done.
You might want to add these cards if you really want to be on the safe side
2x Bandaid
4x Restoration
3x Paitence
Total Amount : 31
Or if you want to be quick, take this one :
4x Solarian Fortress
5x Prismatic Spring
2x Bandaid
2x Global Enlightenment
2x Medical Ward
Total Cards : 15

Suggestion for the game. Don't make me lose the game because my deck is out of cards. ...I still have things in my hand and creatures on the board. Or, if you DO insist on ending the game with an empty deck, how bout telling us how many cards are left so we don't have to count them ourselves?
Also, I noted a bug. Sniper bots..if you use their ability, they are faded out like they're unusable cards until your next turn. Yet, you can still block and attack with them. I find this to be very useful but...ya know...doubt it was intentional.

What I found to be good deck (in general...not as good as Obstsalat's all-red deck) specifically for Challenge #7...
2 shield walls
5 sniper bots
5 Enkor Bots
5 Frailty
3 Hive Mind
5 R3 Sentry
Gives you the passive healing to not die immediately and the sniper bots and frailties take out the enemie's unblockable units (and the sniper bots are wonderful for picking off 1 and 2 strength creatures). The only time I've lost with this deck was on the last challenge...once. Wasn't paying attention and ran myself out of cards.

Better than Kongai, but that's not saying much. The design definitely doesn't understand what is an appropriate cost for various effects or how to balance various strategies against each other. I just threw all of the efficient red creatures and kill spells with the incredibly broken white spell that lets you pay 3 life to destroy anything and stomped my way through all of the challenges. Only other card needed is the (also broken) red spell that makes all of your creatures huge for a turn.

My winning-everything-easily-deck is all blue: shield walls, because having a cheap unit with so much health on start is a win (especialy because it regenerates), hive minds to increase robots damage and all kinds of robots: Enkor bots, so even starting with one health you can begin aggressively, sniper bots, to easily kill 1 hp units (or 2 hp units with two snipers etc.) or decrease health before attacking conventionally, R3 Sentry to attack through defense, X9 Destroyer, because that's end-game pwnage, S5 Sentry, because it has nice damage for reasonable price. And if You need more cards just get hrathian robots too - they're strong with 3 hive minds. And remember about the bug that if You use special ability of sniper bot it will get grayed but you can still attack with it!

***** Pretty Please - add the zooming functionality to this wonderful game. It's a little hard to see on larger screens that cannot rescale the game's window to expand. (CTRL+SCROLL)

Didn't have enough room there, (also forgot to mention you may want one or two reconfigures) but the markov tax is for when you and he both have 4-6 units in play. By that time land of plenty should have given you a minimum of 15 health. Start intentionally dropping all your units but a shield wall, then reconfigure that right before you play the tax. If he doesn't suicide/reconfig any of his units, he'll be dead two turns later.

Safer way to beat one HP challenge: Land of plenty x5, a couple recycles to kill shield walls or R3 sentries, a few myrkin sentries or rogues, 5 memory serpents, 2 shield walls and 2 bureaucrats, 3-5 hive minds, 2-3 R3 sentries, Markov's tax (you might not use it but its good to have for backup), 2 sniper bots (to kill his 1-2 hp units), a couple watchmen. Whatever you don't have the opportunity to use (or if you hit 6 cards in play) get fed to the memory serpents to boost the sentries. Simply lose on purpose whenever you don't have a 1power blocker + shield/land of plenty up by turn 3. If you get even one shield wall or land of plenty up, then all you need to worry about is the R3 sentry and disrupt from that point on. It seems after a set number of turns this setup confuses the AI as the computer began eating its own R3 sentries with recycle on my second attempt. (2 attacker 4 blockers, perhaps that confused it?) A boring build but impressive defense.

MAJOR glitch ... Enforced Silence (does not allow any more cards to be played until your next turn - purple) Never goes away ... leaving you with no way to play any further cards at all.

Why is it the shield wall card only blocks once per turn? If it's so large why can't it defend from several bad guys?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
mabey its just me but so far missions 1-5 wont allow me to block any attacks no matter what cards i have out that have not attacked on my turn is it just me or is that some weird glitch?

I agree with everyone else, This is better than Tyrant and Kongai. This has a simple system and doesn't try to overload you with storyline. Clean and easy to jump into.

Compared to MtG it's not that good ofc, and I doubt any flash game will meet that standard. But this one is quite nice. With some expansion it might be great, currently the game still seems too limited. Still, think a 4/5 is a fair, and very good score.

My only argument about it being compared to magic is that it lacks depth... if instants worked like they do in magic (able to act at any time), then the game would be amazing. alas~
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
There's an important difference here from Magic. You draw a card, or gain more power. Anyone with sufficient intelligence should see that.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Better than Tyrant(no energy, but no online multi which Tyrant sucks for anyway) and Kongai(Kongai just sucks) and maybe Magic the Gathering.

Hm, i just don't like the time it takes each and every turn. It's a game that you can't play quickly one round in. It's a calm paced card game. I love it, but it might have been a little more action-packed in my opinion.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
If you call something a challenge, you might want to make it a challenge for more than blind monkeys. The game is so easy that there's really no point in playing it (other than the kongregate points of course).

Bug: When you play Memory Serpent, then choose a card to discard, then press cancel, Memory Serpent takes no effect, but the discarded card is still discarded.
