Maybe instead of removing the event cretaures such as the vampire ghost and skelly, maybe keep them and theyr abilitys but reduce by 50%?

@captainschmolly in the last update they made it the default that spell tooltips would disappear when you weren't moused over the spell button because the previous way irritated many people. You can either use ctrl+click to set autocast, or the enable tooltip persistence in the options menu

Some of the game mechanics that are added for the events could be kept permanently so for example monsters can be kept within the game but the bonus effects from them are decreased like in Path of Exile.

I play a lot of idle games, and this is by far the best one i have played. It always feel like you're making progress getting new mechanics that change how you need to play.

Is anyone else still able to access their event spell? I've still got Shadow Embrace on screen and I can spend mana on it. Granted, it doesn't do anything anymore, but I can click the button.

just gonna say that while fun, the Halloween event was completely broken. I haven't played realm grinder since the visual update, where I was at R36(ish). I came back to it on Saturday, the day after the event started, and now 6 days later i'm on R44 about to hit R45. That's 8 reincarnations in 6 days.

I reincarnated 5 times this week, thanks to the vampires. Probably would have done more, but I took the time to try getting Stoic Resistance at R8. I almost did too, but I got impatient.

@Dreius99: All faction blood lines at once, fanction spells only cost 1 mana, and a spell that gives increasing assistants each time it's used. As awesome as that is, these devs only let players be overpowered on the holidays.

This game is so complete and so replayable, every time i think i've seen everything in this game a new feature appears or i get a new trophy or i unlock something that changes the entire game, this game is unique and great, congrats to the devs.

I got 500 000 mana in under 3 hours, with angel bloodline, no tax collection. Does it mean that I have to reincarnate and do it immediately or what? Why isn't the challenge completing???

@DaneofHalla: Druid challenge 4 requirements tripped me up too. I tried several different things; what finally worked for me was casting GB 13 times within 5 minutes of a new abdication with no research at all. This requires some fast mouse action (and you must not buy the spell upgrade), but it's doable.

@themthe Thanks for trying to help, but I've had so many problems with the browser crashing or refusing a login that I'm just going to play out the event and then take a break. The game is too much of a grind for me.

geezus...did they expect anyone to stick with anything except the vampire pet for main play? Its buffs are hand-over-fist stronger than the other two combined! Was it supposed to be a fair, even choice between the three? They utterly failed if yes (not complaining though, I LOVE the Vampire buffs)

@848484 the issue you ran into is that the game has to be updated to add the specific event into the game. This typically happens the week before the event starts, so if you never reloaded after that update came out, you can't get the event because it literally doesn't exist in your game code. They announce when these updates come out so you want to be sure to refresh the page when the game updates.

I'm peeved. Nothing for the Halloween event showed up on my screen until this morning, less then 18 hours before it ends. I usually play in Explorer and leave the screen up for days because of all the crashing problems when there's ads or in Firefox. I even checked the events tab over the weekend and there was nothing. I'm 11 reincarnations in and it's free, but if I'm going to be missing game changing events I don't know how much I can be bothered. I'm on this game every single day and missing this event really ticks me off.

so i can't seem to be able to get durid challenge 4. ive tried doing with no researches, just the 3 druid researches, and using just A and E researches. i just can't seem to get it. has anyone else had problems with this?

Dear whomever reads this letter, it we have had many passing leaders abdicate their position of throne for this kingdom, many switching to different allies, which I can't tell who are friends or foe. We even had leaders come back from the dead to serve us, I think I'm getting scared of this kingdom. Which each passing leader dead or alive, we get taxed more and more, I can barely keep up in income, not to mention that the whole city is called to arms the whole day. This game's layout is eerily similar to a lot of control center displays, with all of the numbers and readouts and things to watch. If you love that sort of thing, you might want to look into getting a job doing it.

...Ah yes, that was the problem. Thank you for the replies. I had one of the other pets active when I collected the ectoplasm. I didn't realize that was necessary because I got the feats for collecting the other 2 resources without checking first to make sure I had the right pet active (I just did have the right ones turned on at those moments, by chance.)

at darthgorbag did you have the ghost pet SELECTED as well? Mine didn't work unless the right monster was selected first.

@darthgorbag I found no problem with the spooky feat. As for collecting, the count starts as soon as you receive the monster, I had about 220 before the skeleton, and i had to collect 480 more to get the feat, as for the ghost i already had 400, so i still had to collect 480 on top of that.

@darthgorbag, did you have the ghost pet selected? In order for the achievement to count, you need to have the ghost pet active, this can be done by clicking on the ghost pet in the event tab.

Good lord, buy levels for the vampire as soon as you can. His level 25 ability is so overpowered I've made 3 reincarnations since getting it!

"Spooky" feat is broken. Twice (once yesterday & once today) I've collected a full glowing stack of ectosplasm but not gotten credit for it. I already had the ghost pet before each try. Also, each time, like 30 seconds after collecting the ectoplasm and noticing the lack of feat credit, the message popped up to notify me that i've smashed today's pumpkin. Apparently when you open the game for the first time in a day, it takes a minute for it recognize the event, so YOU MUST WAIT AT LEAST A MINUTE TO SEE IF THE PUMPKIN MESSAGE POPS UP BEFORE YOU COLLECT A RESOURCE STACK!!!

9.5/10 game I really think that they should add something that everyperson can do while they wait for money like do something like a mini game- for example (MINING) spend some money to play but in return you get faction coins or mana.... or just something to do instead of being idle everytime... I just think that would make the game more interesting
