A small side note, I haven't tested all factions but it does appear that the angelic faction is by far the best. Very little money is made from your actual buidlings compared to what teh spells give, and the fact that you make nearly 5-7 mana a second near the progress wall allows you to cast the full combo of spells quite often and allow you to move forward at a snails pace, which is better than the general stagnant or nonexistent progress of other factions. The one downside is that all the bonus spells for most classes will never outweigh the call to arms and 7 taxes spells you can cast, which dwarfs the measly idle progression or teh tiny bonus from holy light and God's hand. God's hand only gives me 911% production bonus for 800 mana, where the call to arms gives me 444% for 300 mana. A lot of work needs to go into this to balance it.

@divinegame: if i can suggest, would be great to have nonlinear upgrade and build strategy too. For example the Magic chaneling upgrade for the wizard tower could add few % to the mana (max for tower and %gain for chaneling upgrade). that's an example but it will give us more possible way to play the game. Warior barracks builds and upgrade can improve the "call to arm" spell. Cathedral for holylight - royal castle improve "collecting tax" spell, etc... i think you get it, lot of possibility. and something like each 100 blacksmith -> reduce the cost of warrior barracks and knights joust by 25% etc..

Love the game, but just a small suggestion: Instead of mana upgrades unlocking based on how many spells you've cast, have it based on how much mana you've used. Seems like that would make it more fair across the board for people who use only the most powerful spells they have available.

Good game feels like its finished better then what alot of people do and release pre beta games.
Just and idea but there is a good and evil catagory why not a neutral as evil focuses on idle and good focuses on active why not 50/50 active and passive? just an idea not trying to tell you want to do.
cheers mate

Its very frustrating to use spell with random possibilities. I think Night Time is the most of all. There is so much diff between each building category that the spell is kinda worthless. Very disapointing.

Hello Dev,
I appreciate how much focus you are putting on the game and listening to peoples concerns. I'm on my second playthrough with 46 gems so far. I have a question regarding the 2nd round of Coin upgrades, I just paid 100 Angel coins to unlock angel upgrades, and am not exactly sure what that did, besides give me the option to save up 500 more Angel coins to unlock more angel upgrades. Where do I see exactly what these do?
Thanks!
We have just uploaded a new version that should help with the issue. If you or anyone else still experience it, could you please PM us your OS, browser and flash version? Thanks!

the price for the first diamond is 1 trillion which is understandable but after the amount is just to extreme for how little they actually boost you

Damn, annoying how even with tons of gems, you still need plenty of time to recover your mana regeneration through casting low spells... :/

when i started fresh new game - farm gives 2, inn gives 6, blacksmith gives 20 = 28 cps ...... i did soft reset, got 8 gems = 16% production increase, and now - farm gives 2, inn gives 6, blacksmith gives 20 = 28 cps ... you have wasted time and efforts of math teacher in elementary school - 28+16% = 32.48

I really love the feel of this game. Great replay value with the different factions and gem system. One thing I think would really make this game awesome is if you could spend gems to have some faction upgrade permanantly, making replays even more interesting. It would add this dynamic cross-faction system.

Cost of gems should reset with each soft reset... period.
Lower level buildings quickly become a waste of time - as do their costly upgrades.
Game severely begins to low down when you get to higher levels... and occasionally crashes browser.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
wow, okay. Soft resets also reset faction coins (I assumed it meant regular coins). That makes future playthroughs boring until able to choose a faction (which takes more time than it should, btw).
I also agree with everyone that progressions for upgrades (e.g. mana regen) should persist through soft resets, and mana regen should be tied to mana used, not spells cast.
Finally, gems seem WAY too grindy. Maybe keep them at 1T and add an option to trash gems for a 10% (instead of 2%) boost for this reset only?

Goblins are OP as f. Need major nerf on Strong Currency ability. Mana regen unlocks should come with mana spent, not # of spells cast. Please add toggle to disable gold/faction coin earned spam when clicking the chest. Please add a few more achievements and unlocks as well..just about hit everything available.

Y'know, I hate that we no longer have 2000 mana due to the 'balancing,' but I would love if there were a new upgrade to compensate: a super-expensive upgrade, neutral, that doubles your mana reserves.

...Now that I think of it, does Autocast make Angels better than Undead for idle gain-over-time? I guess it depends on if the Undead multiplier is multiplicative or additive...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
On the Angel path, once you get the mana-cost upgrade, you really need to view things in terms of taxes. Even at 430 percent, Call To Arms is worse than Tax Collection...on it's own. However, when you consider that it boosts Tax Collection by that same 430 percent, things turn into capping mana, Calling, then spamtax.

Mana ugprades should be unlocked with mana used, not spells casted. Right now I choose the angel upgrade path. It supports active play, but I have to cast the cheapest spell that boosts my money based on passive gain, so I can get more mana regen.

Can you change the "Cast x number of times" to "spend x mana"? It feels dumb spamming the cheapest spell just to get trophies.

The crystals you get for reseting suck. You gain 2% to production if you reset. You gain 10% from a faction exchange and those you can do without losing progress. But you cannot lower those, cause it would make the game even slower with those nerfed.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I really like the game, there's a bit of stuff here and I'm enjoying it a bunch except for having to leave it up to get progress. With offline production, this would be really great.

The instruction says that you can only make royal exchanges with faction coins of a faction different than yours, but you can do it with your own faction's coins as well. :)
Yes, that was a mistake on our part. It is intended to use your own faction coins to buy royal exchanges and we updated the game instructions properly.

I knew there was something I'd forgotten. Option to turn numbers and moving graphics off to save against lag, of which there's a bit.

Give us the option to disable chest animation and the income text on each click, should reduce the performance issues abit

* Also on mana. My mouse double clicks occasionally for me, which is nice. Not so when clicking spells - the same spell clicked twice will both run concurrently, not consecutively. Is it possible to have spell buttons unclickable while the spell is running? * Base clicking rewards are sometimes wholly inappropriate for the cost and the stage of the game where you buy them. The benefit is invisible. ie: Eternal Treasure. * Many Exchange upgrades still not purchaseable when you have the exact coin. * On reset, alignment-based spell buttons have no text until you mouseover them and trigger the hover. * From my sixth go around, some of the factions seem *way* more OP than others, eg: auto-clicker (clicking macro) + elven faction. Cheers, and keep up the good work :)

Hiya, I've been collecting some ideas since it's better to get them all into one post than scatter them to the four winds. Apologies in advance for the wall of text but there's no formatting in comments. * Sort upgrades by cost not randomly as it appears now. * Show % chance of finding faction coin. * There's a massive jump in some upgrades' costs, ie: going from 100Qa to 100Qi for the same building's upgrades with nothing inbetween. * Now that the mana pool has come down to 1000, can we have some upgades to make it larger? (There's more)

Could there be a shortcut for the spells maybe? It kinda shitty, when you click like a madman and could keep some spells up indefinetly, but it takes a bit to activate it all the time.

This means that it is NOT 1 T per reset to get another Gem. Just the first time you earn 1 T ever, The game uses your total earned across ALL resets, which makes the Gem acquisition progressively slower after a few Gems.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
No. you get your first Gem at 1 T coins. The problem is that after you soft reset, it takes a lot more than 1 T to get the next Gem, and even more the next Gem. A soft reset in the current game does not affect how much more you need to earn in the game to get another gem.

In conjunction with Atalan's comments on earning a gem, I thought I'd add my experience. I just broke 1 Trillion coins earned (first game, no resets, Angel affiliation, 46 trophies, and 37 upgrades). Not idea what the conditions for earning a gem are, or why the income levels vary so wildly for earning first gem.
